The Powderhorn condominium is only steps to Blackcomb mountain and is a perfect ski location in the Benchlands area of Whistler. This 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom unit is the largest in the complex at over 1,500 sq ft. On entering the unit there is a 25 foot high double sided fireplace separating the living and dining room which seats 8 comfortably.

It has 2 bedrooms (1 king, 1 queen) and a large loft (1 set of single bunks & 1 single) to sleep 7 comfortably (8 if you use the queen pullout in the living room).

The living room, dining room and master bedroom have spectacular vaulted ceilings with fantastic mountain views. The ensuite master bathroom has a large jacuzzi tub, double sinks and an oversized shower.

The unit has a fully equipped kitchen, double sided gas fireplace in the living room and dining room, 3 flat screen TVs, stereo, DVD player & movies, wireless internet, washer & dryer in unit and a wooden deck out front with a gas BBQ.

The loft has an access door to the outside and the shared outdoor rooftop hot tub with it's incredible view.

Ski-in/Ski-out is simply across the street to the Wizard

Trail that leads to the Wizard run on Blackcomb Mountain. The free shuttle into Whistler Village stops right outside the complex but if you prefer to walk it's less than 10 minutes down the road to the restaurants and nightlife of Whistler Village.

The unit has 2 secured underground parking spots, underground visitor spots and secured storage for your ski equipment.

We live in the unit for part of the year so we have tried to equip it with all the comforts of home!

Our family has loved skiing for years! We live in Calgary now but spent many years living in Switzerland skiing in Europe. Our favourite spot has always been Whistler so are happy that we are so close by to enjoy it.

The Benchlands area is by far the best location in Whistler. It is so close to everything that our car gets parked and never moves until we leave town. It is a short walk away from the hustle of the village so nice and quiet for relaxing after a hard day on the slopes.

What makes this condo unique

Excellent ski-in and ski-out just across the street. Close to great restaurants and apres-ski pubs. The free shuttle to the village is just outside the door.

Do not forget to put the keys back in the lock box!!!!

We loved this place, only a 5 minute walk to the lift and you can board all the way back home. House had everything we needed, coffee maker, crock pot, pots pans, BBQ etc... Im listing it because the owner just says to much to list which is quite lazy IMO I would like a list of what the house has just so I am prepared. We were not able to use the spa on 2 of our 4 nights because it was not hot, not sure why but I will not hold that against the owner. You may feel like you are being scolded by the owners repeated remarks about how its not a party pad and how you must immediately put the keys back in the lock box. It was the joke of our trip, we kept poking fun at each other asking if the keys were back in the lock box!!!! Im guessing the owner has had some not so respectful guests in the past and it shines through clear as day. At the end of the day it was a great place to stay at a great price.

Very spacious, lots of natural light, a well stocked kitchen, and lots of towels!

This place is my absolute favorite place to stay in Whistler. This trip was my second time staying in the Hicklin's Whistler home. This unit has a beautiful layout that feels much more spacious than other units I've stayed in that have comparable sleeping arrangements. It's rare to find a unit with a kitchen as well stocked as this one is with nice cutting knives, glassware, plates, bowls, coffee makers, a slow cooker, a grill, pots, pans, etc. There are also more than enough towels for use with showers and enjoying the hot tub. The hot tub is right outside the upstairs loft which is really convenient as compared to the other units in the building. Jane was incredibly helpful and responsive in answering my questions leading up to the trip. I will gladly be back!

We really enjoyed this unit, ski in/ski out was awesome. It is really roomy and comfortable. The best part was the kitchen had everything - salt/pepper, oil, basic seasonings, plastic wrap/foil, wide range of pots and pans, dishes, containers for leftovers, utensil, knives that actually work!!!...all these things I have always had to buy when renting other condos. And loads of board games, puzzles, movies, and books. And the hot tub is right outside the loft door, so you can see if anyone is using it. I loved it and will definitely rent it again when we come back to Whistler. Jane was in constant contact with me if I had any questions during our stay. It really felt like home to me. :)

Perfect Place for our 2 families

We are a family of 4 with 2 teenagers, and our friends a family of 3 with one almost teenager. The main area + kitchen is well equipped and very spacious, and the 2 bedrooms were great for the adults with the kids sharing the loft bunk beds. It is a 5 min walk to the Blackcomb base, 15 min walk to Whistler Village, and faster if you take the shuttle which stops right outside. The building has a shared jacuzzi on the roof, which was super easy to access, and had a nice view of the mountings. Would definitely stay here again.

Great condo in a great location

Some friends and I recently stayed here whilst attending a friends wedding in Whistler. The Condo was very easy to get to from the main village and was well equipped for an enjoyable stay. I Would definitely recommend this condo for other groups looking to visit Whistler.

Excellent location for the summer or winter time. Whistler hosts the annual World Ski & Snowboard Festival in March and Crankworx, a mountain biking competition, in August. You can ski almost all year round with the glacier open in July! Just go to the Whistler/Blackcomb website to see all the activities going on year round.
