About Rick Singbusch
We live in and work in Rochester and bought the property back in 1995 and finally built the cabin in 2005. Have really enjoyed the fishing and the quiet there.
Rick Singbusch purchased this Cabin in 1995
Why Rick Singbusch chose Longville
We bought this property because of its quiet location, the size of the lot, and the proximity to town. It's only a mile and a half to the restaurant and gas station in town but you feel like you are a long way from civilization when you are sitting on the deck or out fishing. The lake is a good fishing lake for panfish, largemouth, and northern pike. The lake is about ¼ mile wide by ½ mile long, about 60 acres, it’s not unusual to be the only one fishing on it.
What makes this Cabin unique
We have really enjoyed quiet and privacy of this property and the excellent fishing. There aren't many trophies in this lake but if you enjoy catching 2 to 5 lb northerns along with largmouth bass, crappies, and panfish you will love this lake. You can see from the pictures that the lot itself has a large open area with a couple of wildflower gardens. There is also a couple of acres of woods with mowed trails in them.

September in Longville
Always enjoy our stay in Longville at Rick's place. Enjoyed the quiet property and the closeness to all of the lakes that we like to fish.
We had a wonderful time! If the weather would have better (it rained the whole time we were there) it would have been awesome! Our dogs loved having so much room to run and jumping off the dock into the lake! It was super clean and so accommodating! We will definitely be back!
Another Beautiful weekend get away.
Cabin is quaint, property is beautiful, quiet, relaxing. Riding trails are close and fun. Fishing was fun and plenty to throw back!! We will rent here again and again.
Dozens of fishing and recreational lakes nearby including Leech and Woman Lakes. Only 1 1/2 miles from Longville featuring Turtle Races every Wed during summer months. Local attractions include mini golf, ice cream/pizza parlor, locally owned shops including home-made fudge. Also near snowmobile trails.
