This new ground floor apartment built in 2009 sleeps up to four people. It has a spacious lounge/dining room and a fully fitted kitchen with washing machine. There are two bedrooms consisting of one double and two single beds. The bathroom is comprised of walk in shower, wash basin and toilet. All bed linen and towels included in cost. The lounge has television for English (ITV and BBC), Spanish and French channels a DVD player, Wireless Internet connection and a variety of flims, games and information about the local area. All of the rooms are fitted with ceiling fans and mosquito nets to windows.
There is also a terrace with excellent views of the sea, with a patio table and seating for four. Exclusive use of owners 8 x 4 metre private pool (owners live on site) BBQ, sun-bed area and boulles court . Large sun-house newly added for spring 2012 with adequate seating for four people
Off road parking available. Gated secure access.

A nice warm welcome from John & Patricia as they showed us around the immaculately clean and tidy apartment annex to their own home with great views over the bay. There was a welcome beer and bottle of wine (had they been cold we would have enjoyed them on arrival!). There were lots of the small extras in the kitchen which always make holiday visits so much nicer; such as a small bottle of olive oil, foil, cling film wrap, salt pepper, tin tomatoes some pasta and many other similar items. When on holiday we never use a full bottle of oil, pack of sale etc so these little touches are very much appreciated.
There are a number of steps leading up to the apartment and to get to the pool there are more steps, this was not a problem for us but it could be for others.
The property is very quiet and there are no facilities close by so a car is essential for anyone staying here. I was surprised that there was not an information booklet to provide information about local supermarkets bars and restaurants, this would have been helpful.
The pool and area around it was great not overlooked and as with everywhere very clean and well maintained.
We cooked in some nights and the BBQ is very good but would benefit from some new equipment, it does not look like anything has been renewed for some time. The kitchen would also benefit from a review of utensils and perhaps a knife sharpener would be advised.
Overall an excellent stay and we would definitely like to return to stay here again in the future.

I think the 5 star ratings across the board for this superb property are accurate. The place is stunning, honestly it was a pleasure to wake up in the morning and look across the Med. I am certain Pat & John would have bent over backwards to accommodate us if we asked them to, clean towels laid out at the pool for us, always asking us if everything was OK, apartment was pristine, beds were both spotless and comfy, Sky TV ensured my wife kept up with soaps back home and Internet meant I didn't have to :) We used the pool & barbecue area and found the lovely breeze a welcome relief from the sizzling sunshine, explored the local area by car and found loads to do. To summarise if you are looking for the perfect peaceful base to explore this wonderful area then look no further. Read the reviews and take my word for it they are 100% accurate. Pat & John - I would like to say on behalf of myself and my family please keep doing what you do. It was a pleasure to meet you both, thank you for such wonderful hospitality and your apartment is perfect, we all had a fantastic time and hope to visit again. Go straight to the top of the class !!!
We had a excellent two week stay, spotlessly clean, lovely pool with fantastic views of the sea. John and Pat excellent hosts, discreet but if help needed on hand, cannot fault the apartment. Little touch towels changed twice a week, plus pool towels. Kind Regards Sandra & Ian
We had a lovely 8 week holiday at John and Pats apartment. It was just like home, everything you need for a peaceful and relaxing holiday. The apartment is very clean, beds very comfortable and all the equipment you need for a great holiday. Nice terrace to sit on outside the apartment, then you have the sole use of the pool, with fantastic views across the med. very good location for exploring the nearby towns of Moraira and Javea.having known John and Pat for several years they were as usual great hosts. Our stay was so good we have booked again for next year. You will not be disappointed with this apartment.
We had a great time in Cumbre Del Sol. Pat and John made us feel very welcome throughout our stay, and we're always willing to go the extra mile for us. The apartment was well equipped, clean and very comfortable. The cliff top location was stunning and convenient for Javier/Dania to the north, and Moriara/Calpe to the south. Therefore,new were spoilt for choice for fantastic beaches, varied days out and the widest selection of food. If you are thinking of a trip to the Costa Blanca, we wholeheartedly recommend this accomodation, and we hope to return again soon.
Cumbre del Sol is located in the municipality of Benitachell, between Javea and Moraira, surrounded by green spaces and panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea. Within a 15 minute walk or 5 minute car drive there are two bars on Moriag Beach. Secluded Moraig beach is a cove for exploring, bathing or sunbathing. Swimming and snorkly around the bay and coves is very popular, or just rest and sun bathe in the nudist area at the far end of the beach. A well stocked supermarket, large Cumbre restaurant with pool, farmacia, hair dressers are 10 minute drive or if you prefer the local town of Benitachell and Moraira is a short car drive from the apartment. Hiking on the cliffs, discovering how the inhabitants of Benitachell used to fish whilst hanging from the cliffs, practice water sports; diving; or simply enjoy the caves and good climate of its famous beach. During the summer months while away the evening at the two bars and restaurants or picnic on the beach and watch the boats go by and the sun setting. The lighthouse at Cap de la Nao which can be seen in the distance is just a short journey away and well worth the visit. The town of Moraira with its bustling shops and restaurants, superb beaches and marine life is just 15 minutes drive away and is famous for its Friday markets and local Fiestas. Kart racing, ten pin bowling, local indoor swimming pool, paddle courts, flat green bowls, petanque courts, computer clubs and lots more activities to please all the family.
