This is a perfect condo for a great ski weekend. We had thought about renting a hotel but decided to go the condo route. We are very happy made with that decision! Condo was clean and well appointed (had everything we needed for dinner). We utilized the buildings hot tubs after a long day on the slopes. Julie and Scott communicated everything in advance and went out of the way to make sure we got checked in ok. Highly recommend!
Lovely condo for a great ski/snowboarding vacation!
This property was perfect for our quick getaway! The extra amenities in the property were a bonus! The property owner was easily accessible to answer any questions. All instructions were clear, the property was neat and well kept, and exceeded our expectations. Thank you!
Super convenient to adorable ski village a lifts.
Short walk to the lifts and village was very convenient. Julie made sure our stay was everything that we expected it to be, even reaching out to us during our stay to see if there was anything we needed. Condo was clean and equipped with everything we needed. We will definitely be back.
Perfect little condo for 1 or 2 people! The location is close to the ski school, but slightly further from the lift/gondola. Definitely would stay here again for any future ski trips! Also the heated pool area has a great view and is definitely better than the other buildings, so keep that in mind if that matters to you. Really cute little place!! We were able to use our Apple Connect and watch our shows at night without issues, the internet worked great, everything in the kitchen was functional, etc.
We loved the location of this condo. A short walk through the pool area, out the back gate, walk past the grocery store and arrive in the center of River Run. We loved that the grocery store and the restaurants are so close to the condo. My daughter and I would ski into River Run, take our skis off and have a drink and a bite at Kickapoo Tavern; Spoon Cafe has great Bloody Mary's, the Crepe Place is a must try and Montezuma (Zuma) Roadhouse for dinner. After a long day, we loved the convenience of the ski lockers provided as you walk into the lobby. If you have kids, the ice skating rink is right outside the door and the hot tub pool area was a hit for kids to enjoy early.
The negatives: we arrived early and we knew check in was 4:00. Well at 3:55 we checked our room and it was still dirty. At least Buffalo Lodge took our luggage behind the desk. Just cost a tip. Got in, obviously it was a rushed cleaning. The bedding (blankets) were obviously dirty. Called Scott and found out that they don't clean them because its a condo. (He was very nice and got right back to us, re: cleaning and blankets) I realized that it isn't hotel service, and you can't call for an extra blanket, so I ran 3 of them through the laundry which is on the same floor. Don't expect nice blankets, they are the green itchy army blankets.
If you don't have a car, their are a few Uber drivers and Lift drivers, however, there is the Summit Shuttle located by the skating rink. Overall, I would definitely stay here again, because of the location. I would have given it 5, but the check in and blankets effected my score
