Open plan cottage with 12' Sliding Doors Merging Interior and Exterior Spaces

The cottage is positioned on a plateau of 3/4 of an acre of beautiful lawn and Seagrape trees, surrounded by wooded hills and commanding mountain and ocean views. The Tradewind breezes provide natural cooling even in the summer months. The cottage design is modern, incorporating Mahogany wood doors and Ipe wood flooring. The kitchen is fully equipped with granite counter tops, stainless steel refrigerator/freezer, ice maker, wine cooler and microwave/convection oven. The views from the kitchen windows of Mount Nevis are stunning and will leave you wanting to prepare meals just to be able to savour the view! For your privacy the sliding glass doors are tinted and have silk drapes which can be drawn at night. There is a large walk in closet and a beautifully appointed bathroom with glass shower enclosure, granite countertops and natural stone wall tiles. The cottage is surrounded by natural stone decks and garden furniture to enjoy the sun, shade and natural cool breezes.

About Laura Craig

James and I have lived on Nevis since 1995, where we met, fell in love and married! We started our Landscape Architectural design firm on Nevis in 1998 and are still very active on the island and the Northern Leeward Islands. We now live part of the year in South West France.

Why Laura Craig chose St Kitts & Nevis

Over the years we had always loved Red Hawk Ridge area because of the 360 degree views and in particular the view of Mount Nevis from this location. We purchased the land at Red Hawk Ridge in 2007 and begin building a year later.

The minimum stay over the Christmas/New Year period is 10 days. Please contact us for discounts on stays of one month or more.

The rental rate includes a welcome basket, maid service on stays of more than 3 nights and all utility costs.

Taxi and boat transfers from St Kitts can be arranged. The cost is paid directly to the taxi driver ($12 per person) and the boat captain ($20.00 per person). Guests will be met at the ferry dock or airport and showed up to the cottage.

  • 100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
