                                                            We were very happy with the property. The electric was off for 13 hours, but things happen. Wish the weather was better to enjoy the beautiful decks, but a little to cold. Very nice overall.

                                                            Thank you for your feedback. It's unfortunate that the power was out at The Escape as well as the surrounding community. That rarely happens but apparently the high winds caused some power line issues. Hopefully the gas Fireplace and gas stove in the basement provided some warmth.

                                                            We'd love to have you and your guest back in the future to enjoy the deck. You are correct that it's one of the most preferred spots at The Escape. The Sunrise and Moonrises are truly special!

                                                            Well furnished, and an excellent floor plan; it is both cozy and private (With all bedrooms well separated). We all enjoyed our stay a lot!!

                                                            We enjoyed the house. We did have trouble operating the oven, and I let the owner know that it wasn't cooking well. However, everything else was in good working order. My family was upset that there was only 1 tv, because it was a big football weekend. The land and view was beautiful. It was a good weekend. I can only imagine how nice the view would be if the leaves were changing!

                                                            Thank you for letting us know about the oven. Since it's a Heartland Oven it's a little unique and probably needs a few more of the instructions. We'll be adding them shortly.

The nearby towns of Tryon, Hendersonville and Asheville are a short drive away. Saluda itself has a two block historic Main Street with shops and restaurants.

It is fully refundable within five (5) business days after your departure, provided the following conditions were met: All conditions of the house rules are adhered to. No damage is done to the home, its contents and outside areas. Check Out Procedures are followed. No excessive cleaning fees are incurred. All trash is placed in the outside garbage cans. All dirty dishes are placed in dishwasher. All items are left exactly where and how you found them and no furniture has been moved. No linens, pillows or cushions or any other items are missing. No late check-out or early check-in (without prior approval) One final note: We love children of all ages and welcome them into our home, however, please keep an eye on them for their own safety and remind them that they are at someone else's home and need to be mindful of that fact.
