A meticulously upgraded Alexander Butterfly Home seamlessly blends historical mid-century elements with modern amenities. This gorgeous home offers five bedrooms and four bathrooms, including an attached casita with its own kitchenette and bathroom. The high ceilings invite endless natural light to shine into every room. Walls of glass throughout the house allow unobstructed views of majestic mountains, Mexican fan palm trees, lush cactus gardens, abundant fruit trees, and a spectacular backyard with large pool and spa.
The moment you arrive at The 28 Palms Oasis, you are welcomed by a simple yet elegant landscaped entryway. Walking through the front door, you enter into the Great Room with an intimate conversation area by a sparkling fireplace, a cozy Media Center to the left, and and elegant Dining Area to the right. The Dining Area connects to the newly remodeled Chef's Kitchen and a Bar Area with built-in wine cooler. The main house boasts four well-designed bedrooms that all open to the outdoors with gorgeous views plus 3 recently remodeled bathrooms. All bedrooms are separated from the main living areas, entitling guests the peace and privacy they deserve. The attached Casita with separate entrance includes a spacious new bathroom and a kitchenette with a refrigerator and a microwave. All bedrooms feature smart TVs with free installed cable and Netflix.
Walking out to the spectacular backyard, you will see plenty of fruit trees, various desert plants, and 28 gorgeous palm trees, hence the name of the estate. At the center of this desert paradise is a large tiled pool with a brand new integrated spa. There are numerous sitting and lounging areas throughout the property. Please pour yourself a drink, sit down, relax, and look up to the open blue sky framed by those impeccable palm trees and the majestic St. Jacinto Mountains. Take a deep breath ... After years of visiting and searching, we decided that this home is the perfect one. We can walk or bike to all the best restaurants, shops, galleries, festivals, and activities in downtown. But the moment we come home, everything seems to be miles away. Our home retains the classic mid-century style yet has been upgraded to accommodate the modern lifestyles. We are glad to share our home with you. We are confident that you will enjoy it as much as we do every time we come to visit.
All the bathrooms and Chef's kitchen have been recently remodeled. Each bedroom as well as the living quarter is designed to have its own character and color scheme yet they are all cohesively faithful to the mid-century design. The spacious backyard has a large salt-water tiled pool with a brand new integrated spa. The property has been recently re-landscaped with fruit trees, cactus gardens, and 28 soaring palm trees. You will have a hard time deciding whether to stay indoors or outdoors. But don't worry, indoors or out, the views are all amazing.
First Time VRBO user and was nervous. But, the home was exactly as advertised. Was perfect for our family reunion of 9. The process with Phillip was super easy. He communicated clearly and quickly with me. The check in process with Tony and Martin (the property managers) was smooth, quick and on time. I really couldn't have asked for anything more ... beautiful home, great location, impeccable service, super simple/uncomplicated. Thanks Phillip, Tony and Martin.
We stayed at 27 palms for Thanksgiving week. There were nine of us. This house is very close to the airport and downtown. We were able to walk or bike wherever we wanted to go. The pool and spa were perfect. Highly recommend this house.
We had such a lovely stay. Everything in the home is perfectly set up for visitors with all of the space and amenities that one would hope for. It is meticulously clean and well maintained. The neighborhood is beautiful, safe and serene. The manager met us at the home and graciously showed us around and let us know to use the jacuzzi, fireplace, etc., he was very friendly and professional. The dining room was perfect for our family of eight to have breakfasts together and we did play some of the board games in the evening. Even the toilet paper was fashioned into a rose...the little thoughtful details really make you feel welcome and a little spoiled. I can't say enough. We would recommend 28 palms oasis to even our hardest to please friends, it was wonderful.
This property is beautiful, and the neighborhood, the view, the pool/spa/outdoor fireplace, and the house are just exceptional. The property manager was accessible throughout the weekend, whenever we needed anything, and the property owners are nice and friendly. The house slept 9 adult-women comfortably, and the beds were high quality. Renting this property is great for mature adults who do not want to risk staying near other renters who are loud/out of control. This property and the surrounding neighborhood has VERY strict (almost intimidating) rules about playing music/outdoor noise, so if you are looking for a quiet, classy getaway in Palm Springs, this is it!
Overall a fantastic experience and the perfect backdrop for our girls reunion weekend. Phillip was extremely helpful and always accessible. He was gracious enough to offer us a late checkout so we could spend more time together. The house was lovely and close to town. We barely left the premises because it was so relaxing and comfortable with a great pool and spa. I can't recommend it highly enough.
The house was beautiful in a gorgeous neighborhood. The whole house was decorated perfectly and extremely clean! The host allowed us to check in early which is very accommodating. The outdoor space with the pool and the entertaining areas were great! I accidentally left something behind at the house. We contacted the host and he responded extremely quickly and said he would ship it me to right away! It did not come, so I contacted the host again, and he followed up in a very timely manner. He generously offered me a $25 Macys gift card for the inconvenience. The host honestly went above and beyond to help. I will recommend this place to all my friends.
The 28 Palms Oasis is located in the heart of Vista Las Palmas, the most desirable area of Palm Springs. It is a short drive to the renowned Aerial Tramway, beautiful golf courses, Knott's Soak City, and Cabazon Premium Outlet. It is minutes to Palm Springs Art Museum, and downtown with the best galleries, shops and restaurants. Once you are back home, you will enjoy the tranquillity and privacy of this elegant home at the foot of the San Jancinto Mountains.
