Quiet and comfortable

  • 3 of 5

It was a very quiet place and it has a fence which is nice for your pets. We had a little problem because our dog is very small and he just walked right under the gate. I don’t like to complain but the floor was dirty and there was a used filter and coffee left in the coffee pot from someone else. There was dog hair on the rugs on the enclosed front porch and my dogs don’t shed so I am not used to dog hair. I don’t know if the owners know so maybe they should check it out and make the housekeeper is doing their job.

Older home as described but very clean

  • 4 of 5

The house fit our needs for a long weekend getaway to a St.Pete area. It was clean. The beds were all large with good linens ( because I'm picky about linens). Our only complaint was the area surrounding the house. It was on a quiet street and we absolutely had no problems there but it wasn't what I had hoped for not knowing the town. But again it was a matter of our personal preference not the home itself. The owners were extremely hospitable and pleasant.

No Surprises

  • 4 of 5

We were looking for a small inexpensive house in the Gulfport marina area. The house is on the older side, but everything worked and we had no issues.

Owner's Response: We are glad you liked our home. The charm of Gulfport Florida is that most of the homes are 1950's vintage, sweet and charming of days gone by. We work hard to maintain the originality of the home without compromising function. Thank you for staying with us.

Comfortable and Convenient

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed exploring Gulfport and the surrounding area, and Tommy and Jody's cottage was a great base for doing that. The beds and furniture are very comfortable, the air and heat work well, and the front porch and back yard are nice places to relax and unwind at the end of the day. The location is convenient for walking around Gulfport, and is also close to I-275 if you want to go to Tampa or Sarasota. There are bikes available, and it's easy to get to the Pinellas Trail which provides over 35 miles of paved riding. We would definitely stay there again in the future.

Plenty of room for our family. Was nice to have a kitchen and laundry service available. The neighbors were all friendly and the house is close to many beaches, places to eat and attractions. Would definitely stay there again!

Clean, quiet & comfortable!

  • 5 of 5

We loved the quiet neighborhood. Everything is in easy walking or riding bike distance. Gulfport is a great relaxed town with great places to eat for every ones palate and wonderful shopping as well. We enjoyed the quiet beach where you didn't have to fight for a nice spot to plop down in the sand and enjoy a swim too. If you are looking for a relaxing vacation - this is the place to come. Tom and Jody have thought of everything you could possibly need to have in the home. Towels, laundry baskets, a very well stocked kitchen if you choose to cook up a great meal and comfortable bedding, furniture etc.

Thank you for a great time!
