About Emily Locke
Hi :-) I grew up in Southern California, then lived in NYC for a few years (where I met my husband) before settling in Anthem, AZ and starting our family! My husband and I have lived in Anthem for 13 years and have four young children. The Flagstaff/Williams area is a perfect escape from the heat of the Valley during the summer, a gorgeous place to see the leaves changing in the Fall, and a wonderful place to experience a 'real winter' and give our kids a chance to sled and build snowmen!! :-)
Emily Locke purchased this House in 2013
Why Emily Locke chose Parks
This place is amazing! We fell in love the first time we saw it. The Parks area is the perfect location, halfway between Flagstaff and Williams. We love the feel of being in the forest rather than in a neighborhood. It really makes us feel like we are "getting away" :-)
What makes this House unique
One of my favorite things about the cottage is the 'Loft', which is a kid-sized play area above one of the upstairs bedrooms. It is such a unique and fun place!

Sports & Adventure Activities
We enjoyed the cottage especially the loft area. The kids put on a play and we got to watch. The zip line in the back yard was great.
Perfect family spot to explore Arizona!
We visited over spring break with two families (4 kids, 4 adults). House was perfect. Plenty of space for everyone to spread out, sleep well and enjoy each other’s company. Well stocked, well cared for and super comfortable. The location is great. We made two day trips to the Grand Canyon, one day trip to Sedona, and spent a day relaxing and hiking from the house. It’s a bit remote, which we loved, but best to prepare by shopping while you’re out and about. Loved it! Couldn’t hope for anything better!
Great family stay
Our party of 9 stayed here for 3 nights while visiting the Grand Canyon and historic route 66. The cottage was great for our large group. There was more than enough room for everyone and the kids loved playing outside on the zip line, the tight rope, and with the horse shoes. The kitchen and bathrooms were fully stocked and clean. Emily was great to work with and refunded our deposit within a week of our stay. Would definitely recommend for your trip to Northern Arizona.
Great home for families visiting with kids.
Everything was great. The location, the house itself and the surrounding scenery was beautiful and so peaceful. Visited the Grand Canyon and Bearizona while staying there. Bearizona was a great experience.
Perfect getaway vacation!
Amazing! The house was very clean and cozy! It was definitely home away from home with everything necessary to make our stay one of the best vacations with our kids! The views surrounding the property were beautiful! We loved the hammock and horseshoes! The hiking trails right out the back door were amazing!
Fantastic get away
This home has it all for the perfect family get away. My kids loved the game room, zip line, tight rope, and loft. My husband and I loved the gorgeous surroundings, beautiful hike and warm fireplace. It was so nice to disconnect and reconnect with family at this wonderful location. Thank you!
Our beautiful cottage has the convenience of being just 5 miles off of I-40 but is quiet and serene beyond compare. There are frequent wildlife sightings! Located at the Parks Road Exit off I-40, just west of Flagstaff, this home is perfectly situated to allow you to enjoy the smell of the pine trees and the fresh mountain air, yet convenient to Northern Arizona's most spectacular scenery and attractions including the Grand Canyon, Sedona, the Meteor Crater, Painted Desert, and many many more. Other Activities: Polar Express, Grand Canyon, fishing, wildlife viewing, hiking, Sedona, Historic Williams, Flagstaff, Lowell Observatory.
