About Nancy Cordoba
Eddie Cordoba has worked diligently for several years to build this fantastic home to share the love for the mountains and all Breckenridge and the beautiful Rockies have to offer. We finished building early 2013 and are excited to share our Lodge with our guests. We have chosen to devote our lives to this endeavor and do everything possible to make your event everything you dreamed of and more. Our motto - 'We are at your Breck and call'.
Nancy Cordoba purchased this Lodge in 1988
Why Nancy Cordoba chose Breckenridge
This property is a one-of-a-kind treasure. It is very difficult to locate a place where multiple families can stay together comfortably. The location on the river, close to town, yet away from the hustle and bustle is very rare. The amenities far exceed most properties in the area. Shuttle pick up and drop off.
What makes this Lodge unique
The Lodge is rare find where large groups can vacation in the same house for family reunions, parties, and other special occasions for large numbers of guests. This property has one of the biggest and best kitchens you will find in the area.

Overall great experience
this is the second time we stayed at this property and it was equally amazing. Despite a slight miscommunication on arrival day/time, we enjoyed our stay. They even let us have an extended check-out, which was greatly appreciated. Highly recommend this property.
Great for work retreat
My work team of 18 people stayed here recently. It is really difficult to find places to rent for a large group where we all need our own beds, but this place worked out great. The large kitchen was nice since we prepared all of our own meals and the living room provided enough space and seating for us to gather around and present our work. Overall, the house was clean and comfortable. There were two points of feedback: 1. We didn't know that the owners (or who I assume were the owners) were onsite. It wasn't a big deal or anything, but I think they should tell you ahead of time. It was a little concerning at first when we were sitting around outside and all the sudden you see someone at the other side of the house lingering outside. Since we were a group of adults, it wasn't too concerning, but it children were around, that would have freaked me out. They should really tell you who is there and maybe even send a picture so you know whether it's them or someone else (or they could just introduce themselves). 2. The kitchen is huge which is nice, but it also made it very difficult to find anything in the kitchen. Every time we needed something, it felt like we had to open and close 20 cabinets to find it. It would be nice if it was a little more organized so you could remember where everything was. Other than those two things, it was great and I would definitely recommend.
Our Leadership Retreat at the River's Edge Lodge
This is our 2nd trip to the River's Edge Lodge for our annual leadership retreat. We absolutely love this house and its location near Breckenridge. We had 35 people in the house and everyone was comfortable. The kitchen is the best! It is immense and well stocked with everything you need to prepare meals, just bring your own food. The house was clean and well prepared for our arrival. We really like the upgrades that they have made to the house recently. We will be back again next year. A great mountain escape for large groups!
Perfect family reunion home
This home was perfect for our group celebrating my in-laws' 50th wedding anniversary. Huge kitchen that allowed us to put out buffets and lots of seating for dining and hanging out. The setting along the creek with the fire pit was great for summer evenings and the hot tub and foosball table were well-used. There were plenty of dishes, towels, linens, etc. And lots of parking.
The owners were responsive to questions in advance, and John the property manager was on-site (closed off part of the house) and he was responsive and readily available. We had some minor maintenance snags during our stay and he worked quickly to try to address them.
And we loved the check out procedures -- we only had to put dishes in sink and throw away trash. No stripping beds or starting laundry, which we appreciated.
The only downside is that two of the bunk bedrooms are in the basement without a bathroom on that level, and they share a common bathroom upstairs that also serves all of the common area guests. But we knew that going in. It's good to know based on who you plan to put down there.
Will return many times! Home away from home for a large extended family.
