Very nice and quiet located House but also near to the town center. Perfectly equipped and more than enough space for our group of 6 adults. Perfect starting point for trips to the "points of interest" all over the peninsula. Many thanks to Carol and best regards from Germany
We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful well equipped home just outside Castletownbere.
Tons of space with six bedrooms & four bathrooms. Slept 12 adults and two kids pretty comfortably with room to prepare and eat meals. Large functional kitchen, outdoor grill & seating area to take in breath taking views. Baby equipment supplied.
Nice garden, toys, games, books & DVDs. In walking distance to town. Tons to see & do in the area - beautiful part of the country.
Thanks for your warm hospitality Carol, even bottles of wine to welcome us on arrival!
Stream Lodge was a fantastic base for visiting relatives in Beara. We were a party of 6 adults and 4 children under the age of 8 and we all had plenty of room. The house was supremely well stocked and had everything we needed and more. SKY was a big hit for the adults and the kids were spoilt for choice with the huge selection of toys and videos. It was a very pleasant stroll into Castletownbere from Stream Lodge and there were fantastic views of Bere Island from the house. It was certainly one of the best places we have stayed on our many visits to the area and we look forward to coming back again soon. Finally, many thanks to Carol for being a very welcoming and helpful host.
Stream Lodge was the perfect accomadation. Truly set up well for large or small group. The house had all needed amenities, rooms were nicely set up and the close proximity to Castletownbere and Beara points of interest was ideal. Walkable to town. Carol was wonderful and we couldn't have had a better experience.
The beautiful and clean bungalow was brilliant for our group of 12 friends. The boys enjoyed the play stations aswell as the outdoor games and in the evening we all enjoyed watching a film or too from the wide variety available. The very well equipped kitchen contained all the things that most holiday rentals lack including spices. The town Castletownbere is full of friendly faces and we extremely enjoyed a few trips to McCarthy's Bar! carol was incredibly useful and easy to contact and i would definitely recommend the property to large groups of any age! We had an amazing week and will definitely be back again!
