Why Mike and Vicki Graham chose Pigeon Forge
We've always loved the mountains and vacationed in Gatlinburg with our family and on anniversaries. Mike and the kids used to stop on the Gatlinburg parkway, take off their shoes, stick their feet in the cold mountain water, and see who could keep their feet in the longest. We purchased a condo in the mountains in Gatlinburg in the early 90's. When Mike was called into ministry, he sold his real estate business and we sold our condo in closing this chapter in our lives. In 2010, when real estate prices were severely depressed, we decided it was a good time to purchase a second home. We never dreamed we would find a luxury log cabin like Bears Repeating centrally located to all the attractions. We've been successfully renting our cabin through a rental management company since purchasing it in June of 2010. Due to Mike's background in Real Estate, advances in Technology (VRBO/Facebook), locating an excellent cleaning service, and maintaining better over site over guests renting our cabin, we decided to Rent-by-Owner.

Bears Repeating was a great location for our first visit to Gatlinburg and the Great Smokey Mountains. The house was very clean inside, darling bed linens and blankets, comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen and great outdoor seating.
Beautiful Cabin in the Mountains
We rented this cabin for an annual family and friends getaway (6 adults, 7 kids). It was in a great location, easy to get to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and hiking. The views from the balconies were spectacular! We saw bears almost every day, though we suspect that was due in large part to people throwing their food garbage in the construction dumpster next door:/
The cabin had a fully stocked kitchen (pots, pans, utensils, plates, bowls, etc.), and starter garbage bags, paper towels, and napkins. If you are staying a full week, you will need more paper products, garbage bags, and toilet paper.
As another reviewer noted, we found that the garbage bins were quite full before our week was up.
The grocery store is a short drive away. If you tell them you are from out of town, they will scan a guest customer card so you can take advantage of the sales/deals.
Would definitely recommend Bears Repeating as a great place to stay!
Fun family time!!
We stayed here with 10 people for my sons Cal Ripken baseball tournament. Loved the location up in the mountains. The view was awesome and it was big enough for all of us to have our own space. Our 2 golden doodles also enjoyed the walks in the mountains. Would love to come back again. The oweners were great on any issues you had. Thanks for a great place to stay.
Will book again
We loved the cabin, the location, the views, the mountain feel, at the same time easy (and I mean easy) access to Gatlinburg and The Smokeys. It snowed around an inch and even from Florida with not winter vehicles it was a safe easy drive to the cabin. 100% booking it again.
We had such an amazing vacation! It was beautiful and very clean! So spacious and in a perfect location. Only a few minutes to both Gatlinburg and Pegion Forge. The owners were amazing and prompt to reply with any questions we had. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to stay in this area!! Plenary of room for 3 families. Thanks for letting us stay in your place!!
Wonderful cabin with a beautiful view!
