In the heart of Russian Hill, this 3 level home has 6 bedrooms, two living rooms, laundry, three decks, views of the Golden Gate Bridge, 4/5 car parking (large SUV's or Vans will not fit).
**9 minutes to Moscone Center by car***
It is steps from many great restaurants, stores and amenities. Hop on the cable car a half block away or walk to Union Square or China Town.
Ideal for larger groups that want to be together in one house versus multiple hotel rooms.
7th bedroom available on request.
I rented this house for a business trip with some colleagues. The pictures do not do it justice, the house is just amazingly beautiful. There were actually 6 bedrooms, so there was plenty of room for the 5 man crew. The extra bathrooms made it that much nicer. When we got there we were greeted by the neighbor who gave us a tour. Extremely friendly and made the process very smooth. The front porch light was out and they had it fixed within a few hours. Best of was that it was convenient to get around. Polk street, a major hub of food and bars was in easy walking distance. Site attractions were nearby, but since it was a work trip, we didn't get to venture much. Lastly the owner was easy to work with. Very responsive! Plus the refund for the security deposit was returned quickly. Overall a great experience and highly recommended for large groups!
We had 10 employees from around the globe converge on San Francisco for the week, and this rental was absolutely perfect. The rental itself had plenty of beds for everyone, enough bathrooms, a real open and comfortable living and dining area, a big kitchen, and enough room for people to hide from everyone else if they wished. The patios out back were great too as well as the views, particularly from the upper bedroom suite. Everything was big enough - no compromising. Except for the garage of course, which holds several normal sized vehicles, but with a group this size the extra large SUV didn't stand a chance - but that's SF for you. Still a great place.
As for the neighborhood - could not be better. I used to live in SF for 16 years, and I think nearby Polk Street, with its vast array of restaurants, bars, coffee shops, pharmacies, corner markets, etc., is the best street in the city for out-of-town guests. Very walkable and safe. This was our third annual trip to SF using VRBO's, and the group unanimously agreed this was the best rental yet. Thanks!
Our family of 11 loved the "full House" living. David was so responsive to all my requests. And as I have said to him, he has a true GEM in Toni as his manager. So convenient to sightseeing and getting around (on foot!) Got to converse with neighbors, and felt very secure in the area. Great way to end our West Coast adventure from Anaheim to San Francisco. Thank You David and Toni. It was a pleasure working with you, and Thanks for the prompt return of our deposit. Excellent VRBO.
House comfortably slept our family of 8 and we never felt cramped. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the kitchen is well stocked. The great neighborhood made shopping, dining and getting around very easy.
David was incredibly responsive and easy to communicate with. Truly a professional.
This home was exactly as advertised and everything was clean and in good working order. The kitchen was well appointed and the living spaces were large and comfortable.
Toni was a great communicator as well and she was very responsive to all our requests.
Overall, an excellent VRBO experience. I'd recommend David, Toni and this property to anyone.
Thanks for a great stay!
David and house manager Toni are wonderful people. Prompt to respond to any needs. The house is: perfect, beautiful, spacious, furnishings complete and comfortable with great linens, the kitchen is fully equipped, many places to gather for good conversation and family time. The neighborhood is fantastic, close to everything and fun to explore.
Three different families stayed in this home for a week. It was a family reunion for us and it fit our needs perfectly. We all loved the house and its location. We could walk to Fisherman's Wharf and Ghiardelli Square. The cable cars ran on the street above us and we loved that we could hear their bells now and then. The view of the Golden Gate Bridge from the master bedroom was very nice- I have some beautiful sunset pictures. As I said, the space was perfect for us and the many bathrooms were wonderful. The house is beautifully updated inside and out. The large garage was awesome to have access to. We loved it.
