Bathroom in the master bedroom, additional full hall bath between other bedrooms. Full kitchen, dining room and living room. Dishwasher, washer and dryer, cable and wifi. Wrap around porch and fenced yard. Plenty of parking. Cotton sheets! Quiet neighborhood five minutes from the ocean. Ten to fifteen minutes to down town Charleston. Harris Teeter within walking distance. Fenced yard. Quiet, clean and comfortable!!!

We live on Folly Beach. We built this house for our daughter and her family to live in while they completed school. They have recently moved, which gives us the ability to rent the home as a vacation rental.

We chose to build this particular design because for the large porch and open floor plan. It was designed by Allison Ramsey Architects in Beaufort SC.

Very good place to stay

We enjoyed our week in Close to the Edge. It was very roomy for four women and two toy poodles. It was also very clean and the location was convenient to Folly Beach, Isle of Palms, Charleston, shopping and restaurants. We would stay there again.

Very Nice

We stayed at The Waters Edge for our daughters graduation from Pharmacy School at MUSC. The Waters Edge is a well maintained beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood. We grilled out and enjoyed eating at non-chain restaurants, cafes and diners.

There is easy access to Folly Beach just down the road. Our daughters enjoyed a bike ride around the neighborhood. Charleston is easy to get to with an unending list of things to do for the entire family.

We highly recommend The Waters Edge !

An absolute awesome stay!

The house was wonderful. We could not have asked for anymore. The house was in excellent condition, very clean and everything was so comfortable. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for sharing your home with us. We had a larger group and it was still plenty of room. Loved the lay out of the house.

Exactly what the name offers!

We were all very happy with our stay at the Close to the Edge house. It was very well kept and the owners are very accommodating. With we had more time to explore the area while we were there. We will definitely be back as well as recommend this home to other travelers.

The house was clean, nice street appeal.

When we arrived, it wasn't long before we found that the icemaker wasn't making ice. Called owner who informed me that previous renters had told him it had stopped working. Owner came by 2 days later with wrong filter, said he would get the right one and be back. Never saw him again. We just bought a bag of ice. Towel rack almost off wall in 2nd bath. lights burned out in kit, master b/r, the grill was filthy. I had to clean the grill before I could use it and left it better than I found it. Deadbolt on frt door does not lock. Just lots of little things. Guess I was expecting better for that price. But, other than that the house was nice in and of itself, it just needs a little TLC. Would not stay here again because of my 1st impressions. If this is an example of what VRBO has to offer, in the future I might as well use the company I was using. On a positive note, the neighborhood even though it was crowded, was quiet with nice, friendly people. It is in a very good location.

Owner's Response: I regret that the renters had a bad experience. It is not our intent to ever leave issues unresolved. We repaired the icemaker and other issues mentioned.

Beautiful!

The house was super adorable! It was honestly better than I expected. It looks as if it was fairly recently done or renovated and the house is well decorated. It came with all of the linens and towels we needed as well as included some travel size shampoo/conditioner sets. The washer and dryer even has plenty of detergent if you need it. It is a great location with lots of restaurants nearby. We went to the Black Magic Cafe and would totally recommend that. It also is not more than a 10/12 minute ride to downtown Charleston which was perfect!!
