|Minimum Stay||3 - 7 nights|
This beach front condo is designed for friends and family to connect with each other and equipped for fun and creative expression. It's also a comfortable place for quiet times of contemplation.
The master bedroom has a king bed. The guest bedroom has an extra long twin bed and a regular twin bed. Each bedroom has a television (not that you'll really want to watch TV with all the other fun stuff you'll want to do). Did we mention that the mattresses are top of the line -- extremely sleep-enhancing!
The living room has a sofa bed (queen), two swivel chairs (so you can be part of conversations and sneak peeks at the gorgeous views from the floor to ceiling windows), and many more chairs (enough for 8 people).
The dining room has a large table that can comfortably seat 8 people (or lots of dominoes or large puzzles:) If you're a scrap booker or a sewer/quilter -- there is plenty of room for setting up extra craft tables and ironing boards too. The owners (who are quilters), even have 2 soft-seat, adjustable office chairs, there for those who want to use their time at the beach to let their creative juices flow for multi-day marathon sewing and crafting retreats. They also have one 4 foot long craft table with adjustable legs.
The kitchen has everything you would want or need to prepare meals, if you want to cook. Besides the coffee maker and electric kettle, you'll find a slow cooker, rice cooker, ice cream maker, and lots of bright colored dishes to serve meals with style. The buffet in the dining room has a variety of place mats and table linens so you can set a gorgeous table for family and friends. If you've got kids, there are melamine dishes so you don't have to fear breaking any of the 'good' stuff:)
The condo complex has a pool on the 2nd floor so raised at the perfect height for seeing the ocean while in the pool and watching sunsets while in the hot tub. 2 raised beach chairs/1 umbrella are already paid for by the owner so need to rent your own.
This condo is close to PCB's conservation park (almost 3000 acres of land with lots of trails) and the PCB sports complex which includes tennis courts and an aquatic center. If you like to be outside and be active...you're close to these great resources.
The layout of the condo has the public places in the condo (dining room, kitchen, living room, and large balcony) all in view of the ocean but separate from the bedrooms and bathrooms. If you've got night owls and early birds in your family, you don't have to worry about one group waking up or keeping up the other group...which is not the case for how many beach condos are designed now-a-days.
Because the condo is at the intersection of 79 and 30, we're just minutes from Panama City beach parkway which takes you to Destin, to lots of golf courses, lots of shops and restaurants, a huge recreational sports complex, and the airport.
We're Yankees thriving in the south. We've always lived near ocean until we moved to the south so this condo on the ocean gives us our needed dose of salt-water sights, sounds, and smells.
Christine Prue purchased this condo in 2013
Ocean front and ocean view with lots of space for family and friends.
I have stayed in several different condos in Panama City in years past and I now have a new favorite. This unit has floor to ceiling windows in the living and dining room that make you feel like the ocean is yours alone. You can see dolphins swim by and watch the rays jump at sunset nightly. The back patio has the most comfortable furniture and is very private. Recent kitchen and bath updates are beautiful also. One of the best things about this condo is the decor that makes it feel like a home, not a rental. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. Chris was very helpful and accessible as she kept me updated on the condo maintenance project in progress. We loved being so close to Pier Park and also walked across the street to Winn Dixie and CVS a couple times. I do hope we can return to Beach Selah! Thank you to all the Prue family for sharing your home.
'This was our third year staying at Beach Selah and once again Christine has meet or exceeded all of our expectations!! We had so much go on in our lives this year including our retirement and relocation to Mississippi, so a beach getaway was so much needed. The beach chairs were great so thank you so much for that , the beds were very comfortable the balcony and view fabulous and the weather was perfect . We even found time to parasail !!! Thank you Christine , is it next year yet lol We are already looking forward to coming back . We hope to go deep sea fishing next year , and try some restaurants that we didn't have time for this year 😎 .once again thank you Chris for sharing your beach home with us . The Stanley's
This condo was the most comfortable stay we have experienced. The complex is not too big and very convenient. The hot tub has a perfect view of the sunset, the room had floats and a beach cart that made hauling everything to the beach so easy, and best of all......the balcony had the most comfortable furniture. I have never enjoyed a balcony on the beach so much!! Thank you for a wonderful vacation stay!
Very beautiful condo from 6th floor. Everything we needed was furnished. The bed was super-comfy. Full Kitchen was just like home.
The balcony is very nicely situated as if you're at the footsteps of the Ocean. We took a few naps on the balcony just listening to the waves splashing on the surf. A real treat, escaping from the hustle & bustle to today's busy life. But close enough to fine dining too.
All the people we met were very nice & friendly. Cant wait to go back.

The view was the first thing we noticed and we couldn't seem to take our eyes off of it during our stay. I think we spent more time sitting on the balcony enjoying the view than we did sitting at the beach. The condo was very clean and nicely decorated and appointed with everything we possibly could have needed. There was a lot of space (there were four of us and two dogs) and we really liked how the bedrooms were separated from the living room, kitchen, and dining room area; my husband was able to stay up late working on his computer and it didn't disturb the rest of us at all. We never had trouble getting a chair at the beach or a convenient parking place either.
Chris was wonderful to work with. She always responded to any questions that I had in a timely manner and was very accommodating (especially with regard to allowing us to bring our dogs). There isn't a lot of green space for dogs but there's enough for potty breaks. There's a park (Frank Brown Park) only about a 5 min. drive away that has a designated dog area. Our dogs had a blast!! Heads up that your dog will probably get wet since not only is there a dog wading pool and a water hole by the sand, there are also several low lying areas that have standing water in them so bring a towel. The park also had a lake to walk around as well as a hiking trail so we went on those to help dry off the dogs before we got back in the car (and to get some exercise for ourselves too).
We liked the location of the condo as well. It's on the "quieter" side of Panama City Beach but is still an easy drive to Pier Park and to the activities/restaurants on the west side of town. There were lots of restaurants to choose from. "Eat My Pasty" was a short walk away and was one of our favorites; the pasties were delicious (we recommend the potato, cheese, & onion pasty) and the fish & chips were good too. If you prefer to cook your own food, there is a Winn DIxie right across the street also.
As you can probably tell, we had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend this condo and will definitely try to book it again the next time we visit PCB. Thanks again, Chris.
We thoroughly enjoyed out stay at this condo. We loved the view, the location on Panama City Beach, the floor plan and the beach chairs/umbrella!! The communication and instructions prior to our arrival was spot on. The accommodations were perfect. The kitchen was well stocked. The only thing we missed was a tea pitcher but improvised with the blender. lol We plan to return next year. Thank you.
On the west side of Pier Park (where shopping and restaurants abound), this property is part of a small condo community on the quiet side of Panama City Beach. If you're a runner or bicycler, then the 5 mile paved bike path through the designated bird sanctuary along route 79 may be a treat for you. You could also choose one of the many trails in PCB's conservation park or go to the recreational complex which includes tennis courts, aquatic center, dog park, and community center. This condo is perfectly located for those who want to walk to everything -- it's close enough to all the places you want to go without being in the middle of all the noise (or traffic). You can walk along the beach or to many local ethnic restaurants (Italian, Thai, Southern, seafood, etc.) or to the grocery store across the street, if you want to fix a home cooked meal.
