Helpful host good accommodations
This place is small the host made good use of the space it had everything we needed. Its a bit of a commute to get into central London but the host made it very easy to figure out with detailed directions and public transit routes to popular attractions and cities. Get a oyster card the minute you arrive from a train station or the Convenient store around the corner from the apartment to use the bus. Convenient bus and train stations a quick walking distance. Convenience store and pubs walking distance around the corner from the house. Quiet neighbors. The host made us feel welcome with little things most rentals won't provide such as coffee, cream, salt/pepper, olive oil, sugar, tea just little things that make a stay more enjoyable. Make sure you buy toilet paper There is one roll for your stay. Really appreciate the welcome folder with lots of helpful information to make a tourist stay simpler
Thanks for your feedback! I'm glad you found the directions useful, you can get into central London (eg Victoria) in about 20 minutes when you take the right routes, but mostly it takes 30-35 depending on where you are going - fairly typical for most rentals in Zone 2, and this is reflected in the price! Sorry about the toilet paper, we provide 2 rolls (one on the holder, one spare), and it's usually enough as a starter for stays of 3-4 nights. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay!
Angela's studio is well organized with optimal convenience
Well situated with easy transport access to all must-see places. Angela style in managing the place and clients is evidently efficient-driven including the prompt and concise communication. A place to come back to.
Thanks so much for your review! I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay and hope to welcome you back one day. All the best, Angela
Wonderful customer care!
We enjoyed our four night stay in this tiny studio. Angela was quickly attentive to our needs. We had a few glitches with the accommodations, and she responded with answers and assistance usually within the hour.
The studio was a 10-15 minute walk to the nearest tube station. From there a 15-20 minute ride into central London attractions. Something to keep in mind as you plan your stay.
Thanks for your review! It does take about 11-12 minutes to walk to the tube, but there are much faster ways to the centre via fast train (eg 14 minutes to Waterloo) as outlined in the folder - and Londoners use all forms of transport to get around the city, using the Oyster Card. Another option is the river ferry, a 5 min walk and just 15 minutes to Chelsea, 25 min to Westminster!
Wonderful Flat in nice neighborhood
My daughter and I stayed in the wonderful flat not too far from all the happenings in London. The train was close by, we prefer to travel like locals. There was a wonderful little pub in walking distance and a convenience store for essentials. There was also a darling little street with places to eat and shop nearby.
Although we did not meet the owner, Angela, she answered any questions we had quickly.
Everything we needed was provided. Felt very safe. Would definitely recommend.
Thanks so much for your wonderful review! It was a pleasure to host you. All the best, Angela
Perfect as always. Thank you, Angela!
It is quiet, private, and all-inclusive.
Thanks for your review Anne it was a pleasure to welcome you back!
Lovely cosy Studio
We have stayed many times in this cosy Studio close to transport and shops (3-4 train stops to central London). It has everything we need for our stay and offers great value. Highly recommended.
The flat is located in zone 2 Inner London, just 14 minutes by train to central London (Waterloo), 10 minute bus ride from Wimbledon, and 25 minutes by bus/train to Victoria. District Line tube is 10-11min away. A few minutes' walk away is the river Thames, a tree-lined riverside park, excellent riverside restaurants, and several pubs, while the lively Old York Road restaurant and cafe district is a 7 minute walk away. Waterloo is the home of Southbank, a picturesque riverside restaurant and shopping district, the London Eye, and Imax. A short walk will take you to Westminster Bridge, over the Thames to see the famous Big Ben and Houses of Parliament, then further up to Buckingham Palace and Park Lane. Over the footway is The Strand, Trafalgar Square, Soho, Picadilly and Covent Garden. Further to the right is the Modern Tate, and you can cross the famous Millennium Bridge to reach St Paul's Cathedral in London. By tube, you can reach the same destinations in minutes, as well as London Bridge, the Tower of London, and Oxford Circus. Other Activities: riverside walks, cinema complex, shopping centre
