Why Jason Willis chose Gulf Shores
We chose the Seawind because of the proximity to some of the local attractions such as the Hangout, Waterville, The Track, Zoo, etc. We spend a lot of time at the Hangout which is a very short walk. The other great feature is the Seawind has a great restaurant, 'Sea-n-Suds, right next door. There is also a beach service on the premises that offers jet ski's, pairasailing and a few other extras. There is also an outdoor/indoor pool and an exercise room.
What makes this Condo unique
I like that our unit is located on the 4th floor. You get the benefit of having a great view without being too far to hear the waves. The balcony is a nice size and will accommodate a large group.

Easy and property owner was very prompt in answering a couple questions I had. He even got an extra coffee pot to accommodate my request

The condo was amazing, clean, and the owner was very nice when talking to him however I didn't realize until after my stay I was charged 600$ in fees. The owner has so many rules I felt like I was being watched and it was a little uncomfortable for the first day or two. The Elevators, oh the elevators, we waited one time for 45 minutes and sometimes when it would stop it was so full and we had to keep waiting. It's better to take the stairs and since the condo is on the fourth floor it's not that bad but beware kids pee in the stairwell and onetime, they tried unsuccessfully giving me a pee shower. Beware of security, if you don't have your parking pass visible, he will stop you and refuse to let you in until you have proof that you belong there. Parking just don't even try between the concrete pillars if you have a large SUV, park on the incline on the third floor. The beach was clean, and the water was clear. Will I stay here again, NO.
Thank you for booking with us and glad you enjoyed the condo. The elevators at most complexes are heavily used especially on check in/out day so it can be frustrating at times. Thankfully our unit is on the 4th floor so only one flight of stairs to the condo. Not really sure about the rules comment. We have basic rules, no smoking in condo, no feeding birds from balcony, no pets and no grilling allowed on balconies. These are mainly rules established by the association and in line with probably all other complexes. As far as fees comment here is what you were charged: Lodging Tax: $234, Cleaning $125, Parking $25, Damage Protection $10 and VRBO Service Fee $206 - All of which totals $600, but none are fees kept by the Owner. Just felt like I needed to clarify and it is detailed in the rental agreement so if there are any questions or confusion the easiest thing to do was call or email. These fees will be charged no matter where you stay at Seawind or any other complexes. At least they are broken down so that most people can understand them. There are Never any hidden fees. Great location and floor plan
This property is at a great location in Gulf Shores with beautiful beach views from the large well furnished balcony. I loved that the balcony had a full table and plenty of chairs to sit in and enjoy the view of the beach. The layout of the unit is great for a family with 2 full bedrooms and a third room furnished with a set of bunk beds. There is a large laundry room which is big enough to hold all of your beach gear. The washer and dryer work well.
There was plenty of room for our family of 5. I would say 8 people could stay in this unit comfortably. Unfortunately, the beds in the second bedroom were "springy" and two of the kids opted to sleep in the living room. The kitchen is large and adequately equipped. The only negative in the kitchen is the noisy dishwasher... I didn't know it was possible for a dishwasher to make so much noise. It made we wonder if it was installed incorrectly. Only start it before you leave the unit. Carpets could stand a good cleaning or replacement. The owner was very responsive any time we had a question. All in all, the positive attributes of the unit definitely outweigh the minor negatives. We had a great time and would stay in this unit again.

Family vacation 2019
We really enjoyed our time at Seawind. We definitely plan on going back. It would be nice if each condo has assigned parking spaces. And wish there were more than 2 elevators for the amount of people that stay there but overall was a great experience

We had a great time nice bed rooms everything was good but if you arrive on Saturday the elevator are very busy and it takes a while to get one lucky to be on the 4th floor

Enjoyed Our Stay
Great view with a nice, large balcony. Place was comfortable and had the basics as far as kitchen, etc which makes getting started easy. The location is great for beach access, stores and restaurants. Complex was not rowdy or noisy at night. No issues and Jason responded quickly to a few questions we had before arrival. Would recommend and would stay here again.

Seawind Condominiums is located near the Gulf State Park Pier – the longest pier in the Gulf of Mexico and only 2 blocks away from The Hangout. The Tanger Outlet Mall with over 130 stores is only a short drive away in Foley. Other nearby activities include the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo, Waterville, LuLu’s, Deep sea fishing, Dolphin cruises, Sunset dinner cruises, Bellingrath Gardens, The Wharf, Fort Morgan, Fort Gaines, Dauphin Island, Battleship USS Alabama, Battleship Park, Pensacola Naval Museum and IMAX theater.
