The Apartment provides light & spacious accommodation with well equipped kitchen, quality superking or twin bed/s option & modern bathroom facilities.An excellent wi-fi facility & new TV/DVD are provided. Impressive Terrace with spectacular views of the River Thames & Canary Wharf. The fabulous views of the London skyline especially at night completes the overall atmosphere for relaxation & enjoyment of a Riverside Lifestyle.

During 'check in' we will guide you through all aspects relating to the Apartment. A comprehensive 'Welcome Information' pack, includes written instructions on all the appliances and

equipment in the Apartment, together with maps showing the local amenities, such as delicatessen and supermarkets, doctors surgery and pharmacist, bars, restaurants and cafes, boat, bus and rail links, tube maps, a local history guide and not least, a very informative map of the Thames Path, a complimentary copy of which is provided for your personal use together with numerous leaflets on London's famous landmarks and activities. Various information books on all that London has to offer, are also available to you. We also provide some basic provisions such as tea, milk and sugar, bread and butter, cereals and conserves for your convenience.

If you arrive early your luggage can be left at the Apartment until we are ready for you at 2.00pm

THE TERRACE AND THE RIVER THAMES: The exceptionally large private Terrace is a real bonus and a fabulous outdoor space to enjoy. The views are wonderful and there are always a variety of boats passing by on the Thames for you to see. At high tide luxury Cruise Liners,Tugs, the famous Thames Barges & sometimes Navy Ships and the old fashioned, tall clipper sail ships can be seen sailing past to dock alongside HMS Belfast. This part of the Thames was once known as the 'Pool of London' because of its deep water channels which enables such large vessels to go upstream. The views are even more impressive at night, especially at New Year. There are numerous firework displays to see across the London skyline not least of all the fantastic firework display at the London Eye which 'as the crow flies' can been seen clearly from the Terrace. If the weather is good the Terrace is bathed in sunshine all day long. It's the perfect place to unwind and relax - whether it's day or night - all you have to do is prepare the cocktails!

KITCHEN SPECIFICATION: The well equipped kitchen is of contemporary design and includes high specification Siemens fitted appliances. Stainless steel electric oven/grill, microwave, 4 ring halogen hob with splashback panel and extractor chimney hood and light. Integrated fridge with ice box and separate freezer, quality washer/dryer and stainless steel sink, together with discreet mood lighting. Filter coffee cafetiere and Whittards of Chelsea table and glassware, together with stainless steel cutlery and steak knives, kitchen utensils, pots, pans and white serving dishes. We also include items such as spices, sauces, conserves, condiments, olive oil and tea. Cleaning materials and washing powder is also available for use. We ensure that the kitchen is spotlessly clean and hygienic at all times. We hope we have provided for your every need, to indeed, make you feel at home when away.

We are able to offer to our visitors the option of a delux superking bed or two quality single beds for convenience which are made up in readiness for your visit. We also have one additional adult single bed for use in the living area of the apartment. All of our visitors have been very happy with this arrangement and were very comfortable. There are extra fitted sheets, duvets and pillows available for the additional bed. We also provide adult floor mattresses with sleeping bags for teenagers and youngsters if they prefer.

Another wonderful stay

My second stay was as wonderful as the first. It almost feels like coming home because the Janet and Peter are so nice, and after they left I had this wonderful flat to myself yet again.

It may not be in the centre but it's only a short walk from Bermondsey tube but my favourite walk is from London bridge tube, past city hall and the HMS Belfast, under the Tower bridge and through Shad Thames.

There is an M&S Foods in More London, and a Tesco and Sainsbury both close to the flat as well.

Finally I sometimes have problems sleeping due to noise but I had no problems in this flat.

An excellent choice

This flat was excellent for its access to the tube and all that London has to offer. My husband and I stayed a week and were grateful to have such a secure and comfortable place to end each day. The flat is on a quiet street just a short walk from Bermondsey Tube Station. The flat is equipped with every appliance and amenity you might have at home. We enjoyed the proximity to Borough Market and the Thames Path. The hosts are very so nice and the one week stay was "top notch".

Great flat in a central location !

This a great flat with everything you could need ! It is centrally located, close to shops, super markets, bars and the Bermondsey Tube on the Jubilee line. The flat is easy walking distance to Tower Bridge, River Thames, Butlers Wharf and the Tower of London etc !

What you see in the pictures and the overall description is what you get - I wasnt disappointed and felt entirely at home in this flat ! Its a real credit to Jan and Peter who obviously take a lot of care and pride in the flat and it's presentation.

Jan and Peter were fantastic ! They are lovely people and were very helpful. I was particulary grateful for thier help with left luggage between stays.

I stayed at this flat on several occasion whilst I was in London over a 3 month period and enjoyed every minute ! The flat is very clean and very well appointed. There are great views of Canary Wharf and the comings/goings on the River Thames !

Highly recommended. Looking forward to booking again when Im next in London !

Wonderful Apartment!

We just finished a fantastic one week stay in Jan & Peter's apartment. It was everything we had expected and more. The view of the Thames and Canary Wharf was spectacular. It is just a 5 minute walk to the Bermondsey tube stop and a Tesco food store.

The apartment has a very large outside patio that would be great for dining in warm weather. It is a relatively new building and the unit is equipped with everything you will need during your stay.

We would recommend this apartment to friends and family. It is our intention to stay here during our next visit to London.

Great flat in a prime location

Traveling to London for business, I was seeking a flat close to the center of town and easily accessible to the London Underground. Not only did this property hit the mark, it had everything I would need for my stay. The owners were exceptional taking plenty of time orienting me to the area. If I ever return to London, I will be sure to check and see if this property is available for rent again.

My little piece of heavan

My apologize for the late review. I've traveled to London several times and this place by far exceeded my expectations. We relaxed on the large patio during the day, watching all kinds of boats and ships pass by. In the evening we enjoyed the incredible view of Canary Wharf. The flat was spotless, comfortable and the owners were a joy to meet. You won't be disappointed with this apartment.
