Monthly Rentals Available Low Season

Why stay in the downtown, concrete jungle with excessive parking fees when you can have your own house, not just a suite, away from traffic, noise and elevators. Just 3 miles from downtown Vancouver or 10 minutes by car, step in and enjoy the Blue Oak's well designed interiors.

With a modern and relaxed vibe, the Blue Oak sleeps up to 8 guests. It's a stone’s throw away from Queen Elizabeth Park, Van Dusen Park, Children and Women’s Hospital. And, within minutes to the airport, Granville Island, UBC, VGH, groceries, restaurants and recreation.

Looking right out of the pages of Dwell magazine, this brand new Blue Oak coach house unfolds in 2 levels with a European open concept kitchen, dining and living area. Impeccably appointed with thoughtful details and lots of windows to let in gorgeous light.

Architecturally designed, the Blue Oak has French doors that open to a southern exposed patio. Curl up with a good book by the fireplace or prepare gourmet meals in the fully outfitted kitchen. We offer all amenities of home with special touches.

Minimum stay is 3 nights during low season and 7 nights during high season. Also possible as a 2 bedroom rental during low season. Please inquire if your dates fall between reservations and we might be able to fit you in. Shorter stays are often available, pls inquire.

Saunter over to the Winter Farmers’ market on Saturdays at Nat Bailey Stadium, home of the Vancouver Canadians Baseball team, the chic shops at South Granville or hip stores on Main Street.

Have a great night's sleep in all of our 'Shangrila' Stearns and Foster queen size beds in all bedrooms.

Enjoy the flat screen smart 50' TV in the living room and 32' flat screen in the master bedroom.

Soak in the deep tub or take a refreshing sky lit shower.

The Blue Oak house was an amazing place to stay while traveling around Vancouver BC.

  • 5 of 5

My trip to Vancouver BC was a family trip to celebrate my son's graduation from college. The Blue Oak house is close to everything. Plus, if you prefer to not rent a car, there are 2 different bus lines close by. The house is close to other points of interests, too. My family and I had a wonderful vacation, together. We appreciated the fully stocked kitchen; with many types of pots and pans, coffee makers, access to a grill, and even a washer and dryer. I was with 5 other family members and everyone had a fun vacation. No one complained about anything. Helene is a very gracious hostess and if you are ever planning a trip to or nearby Vancouver BC, I highly recommend the Blue Oak House. You will be very happy, amazed at the furnishings and be over joyed with how close the home is to many points of interests in the area.

Coach House was great

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at Helene's coach house on the weekend of May 6-7. The coach house is in a great location about three blocks from Queen Elizabeth Park. It is on a fairly quiet street. The house itself was cosy and immaculate. You could comfortably sleep 5 or 6 people there. There is a nice living room and a patio outside which is a great place to sit in the evening. It is a little tricky to find the first time as the entrance is in the lane but Helene sent us good directions She was a very gracious hostess who greeted us on our arrival and quickly showed us around. The house has good wifi and the kitchen is stocked with everything you need if you plan to eat in. We would be happy to stay there again the next time we are in Vancouver.

Be sure to sign the guestbook before you leave!

Well located, contemporary and spacious.

  • 5 of 5

We were in Vancouver visiting from Brazil and found Blue Oak to be the perfect accommodation for our family of 5 adults and a toddler. When we arrived we were greeted by the homeowner who gave us a tour of the house and a left us a beautiful basket of fresh fruit. The room on the main floor was perfect for my senior parents and have difficulties with stairs. The house is incredibly modern and well equipped. We enjoyed eating out on the patio at the end of each day.

This place is perfect for families or couples travelling together.

Cozy Coach House

  • 5 of 5

We traveled to Vancouver BC to watch my son perform and explore the city. Helene was an exceptional Hostess. She greeted us upon our arrival, oriented us to the house and even had snacks for us! The rental is very comfortable and cozy. We were a 20 minute walk to the subway station and a short drive to downtown so we could experience the city but get away from the hustle and bustle into a quieter neighborhood. It was a perfect situation for 3 adults as we all had our own space. I would highly recommend this to others

Great find!

  • 5 of 5

My husband, mother-in-law and I stayed for the long Thanksgiving weekend at the Blue Oak Coach House. We were welcomed by Helene and a basket of fruit and energy bars. The three bedroom house was tastefully decorated and felt like home. We had the upstairs bedroom (there are two) and bath while my mother-in-law had the downstairs bed and bathroom. We were cozy in the living room, reading and watching TV with the gas fireplace going. The house was equipped with a full kitchen, bathroom accessories (even a blow dryer) - and the ambient heating in the floor was delightful!

The 10 minute drive to and from downtown was a breeze using Cambie. The botanical gardens and Queen Elizabeth park are within walking distance. We hope you enjoy this house as much as we did.
