NOLA AT ITS BEST...
Wow, when they say hospitality in the south they aren't just whistling Dixie. This has been a wonderful vacation. Jamie is the BEST. The condo was fabulous for two couples. This place is close to everything. We will definitely stay here on our next visit to NOLA.
Great for Reunion of Friends
There were 9 of us so we rented both condos and it was better than in the pictures. The location was perfect for walking to Bourbon Street, catching the trolley to Garden District or touring nearby casino, aquarium or waterfront restaurants. The condo was nicely furnished, very clean, lots of towels and Jamie left us coffee and ice in freezer. I would recommend this to anyone visiting NOLA, there are elevators for the less able and the private rooftop is a perfect way to end your day!
Fantastic Condo. Great location.
The condo was perfect for us. Great location and close to our events. Easy walk to Canal and the Quarters or to the Arts and Warehouse district. We enjoyed our stay. The place is just like the photos show. Toaster, coffee maker, silverware, settings for 4, bowls and pans are all included. Jamie even had a bag of ice in the frezzer for us. Very interesting artwork. TV/surround sound work great. We hosted a wedding rehearsal dinner for 45 people and it worked great. Two Premium Parking lots just 1/2 block away. The rooftop area was a space we frequently used. Jamie was very accommodating and very much on call if we had any questions. All the doors are keyless. The street door needs a new lock system as we had issues with it during our stay. Special bonus...the Victory bar is just downstairs for drinks or an app. I highly recommend this condo. We are even considering renting again...Maybe for longer than a week next time.
This condo is very nicely furnished, the beds are comfortable (& have great pillows and linens,) and the views from the front windows are nice. Jamie is great to work with, and could not have been more accommodating. He had delicious pastries, fruit and wine waiting for us, and told us about the neighborhood. We had a little problem with the front door on Saturday morning and he took care of it promptly. We walked everywhere, but when we wanted a taxi, we had no problem getting one in front of the condo. The new John Besh/Aaron Sanchez restaurant "Johnny Sanchez" is just a couple of blocks away - don't miss the guacamole. I would definitely stay here again when visiting New Orleans.
A wonderful getaway condo in NOLA!
We really enjoyed our stay in this condo. Obviously, it is on the higher end price-wise, but you get your money's worth. It is absolutely beautiful, with plenty of space and tall ceilings. There are new/modern fixtures and all the amenities. It was like staying in a 5 star resort. Truly peaceful and really quiet. I slept better there than I do at home sometimes. It is in a convenient location too, walking distance from the French Quarter and everywhere else you would want to go (TIP: Looking for a great breakfast spot, try The Ruby Slipper a few blocks down). Also, the condo's rooftop patio is to die for! Gorgeous 360 degree view of the city. Bonus - there is an awesome bar on the bottom floor of the building, called Victory. Yummy food/drinks and nice ambiance. Additionally, Jamie was very helpful and was good at communicating with me up to our arrival and after we left. Overall, this is an ideal place to stay for the luxurious traveler!
Awesome respite from the chaos that is NOLA
WYSIWYG. I really loved this condo on the second floor, just far enough from the craziness that is the French Quarter. The condo is definitely walking distance to the FQ, WWII Museum, Superdome for just about everyone that is mobile. The pictures are exactly representative of the condo interior. If anything, the place is larger than what is portrayed. My party consisted of 2 couples and the third couple opted for an upscale hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience much more than had we stayed in the confines of a hotel. Your discriminating taste will thank you for choosing this condo. Thanks to Jamie and Vania for making the "check-in" super easy.
