We were very pleased with our experiences. When we return to this area we will most definitely be staying here.
A nice, cheap place to stay on budget!
First impressions were not fantastic.
The first 2 codes we were given to get in were wrong (but eventually we got in!) and there was a distinct lack of dishes to use for actual meals.
The mugs set out were dirty and there was a used razor in the bathroom.
All that being said, Wifi was provided (and that code worked first try) and the floors were clean and the bed was really nice. They also provided several sets of towels and we were able to cook with the pots and pans and cutlery in the kitchen.
I think overall it's a great place to stay if you really just need a comfortable bed to sleep in (it was really hard to wake up in the morning for how comfy that bed was!).
The neighborhood kinda looked like a rundown, sketchy area, so if you're concerned about safety, keep it in mind, but we encountered no incidents.
The fan in the bathroom also leaked when it rained really hard and we had to put a pot underneath it to catch the water, but I'm sure the owners are in the middle of fixing it.
It has many chairs and couches and places to sit, so it was great when we had our hosting friends come over.
Accessibility: Has a narrow driveway, 2 cars can fit in.
Cleanliness: pretty shabby except for the bedroom, where a lot of effort was made to make it look and feel nice.
Location: close to shops and not a bad, brisk walk to downtown Greenville. Right next to a railroad, so expect trains passing by in the middle of the night.
Accommodations: we never used the washer and dryer, and only used what we brought in the kitchen (even though there were an odd assortment of spices and whatnot left around), more conditioner bottles than shampoo in the bathroom (about 7-1; we went and bought another shampoo just for variety), but everything else was as expected and aforementioned.
I know the owners will work to correct mistakes so the next experience will be better than ours. It's a great place for a couple people on a budget to crash.
We really appreciate the details in your comments, we will be able to address the matters you pointed out. Thanks again for being our guests!
