About Morgan Brooke

We are a family of four who reside full time in Kirkland, Washington. We both keep very busy working in the Seattle area and raising our two young children.

Morgan Brooke purchased this cabin in 2008

Why Morgan Brooke chose Snoqualmie Pass

The cabin is a great getaway for our family. Although, we enjoy our home in Kirkland, we also enjoy the great outdoors, hiking, and skiing. It is a great place to go to relax and rejuvenate and to get away from the crowds of the city. It is also super close to all the ski-lifts on the mountains, but then at the end of the day it is great to settle in with a movie or just in front of the fire with our family.

What makes this cabin unique

This cabin is very nice inside. It is made for anyone, any couple, any family or families who just want to getaway and enjoy the quiet of the great outdoors. Snoqualmie Pass has some great skiing and only 45- 55 minutes from Seattle. The ski lessons for children are the best around.

Overall Cabin was great and just what we needed.

  • 4 of 5

The cabin is in a great locations, fully stocked kitchen and lots of room. The only hiccup was the hot tub wasn't hot when we got there and took overnight and into the next day to heat. Also the bunk room mattresses were quite thin. We would rent again!

Perfect weekend getaway

  • 5 of 5

We rented the Cozy Cabin with one other family. It was perfect for 4 adults and 5 kids for. a long ski weekend. The beds were super comfortable and we loved the sauna and hot tub. Agree with other reviewers that the house temp, especially media room, was a bit chilly (we didn't try the wood pellet stove, which I'm sure helps). The kitchen was decently equipped for cooking - definitely sufficient - and the kids bunk room was a hit. Owner was responsive to questions. We will be back!

Nicely equipped cabin very close to Summit East slopes.

  • 5 of 5

Well equipped cabin that served my and my sisters family well for a holiday vacation. Ample space for everyone to spread out. Good heating, washer/dryer and kitchen. Three flights of stairs if that is an issue. One car parking in the garage with two more outside in the driveway. Kids bunkbed mattresses were a little thin so only good for younger kids - teens would be uncomfortable. Overall recommended with a responsive owner.

Board Retreat

  • 5 of 5

The location was excellent being so close to everyone's homes, yet feeling far away in the mountains at the same time. The kitchen had everything we needed and we were able connect easily to the internet for our meeting needs. There was a nice large room for us all to gather for team building and accomplishing our agenda. The room with bunk beds would be better for kids as the mattresses are pretty thin. The other beds were great! S'mores at the fire pit was a great perk!

This home exceeded our expectations! My husband ran a marathon nearby so this location was perfect. We enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. Comfortable beds and great coffee makers. The views were beautiful and it was quiet. The owner was readily available via phone or email. This would be a great place for a family as there was a nice room with a few bunks and a smaller bed in one room. There was a king suite and a queen bedroom as well. Great place! We received detailed instructions beforehand about area restaurants and grocery shops. Easy check in everything in good working order.

Snoqualmie Pass is a beautiful area in any season. There is great hiking and great skiing all around depending on the season.

Our favorite places to visit around the cabin are Snoqualmie Falls, the town of Snoqualmie (great restaurant- The Woodman's Lodge), North Bend (Home of Twin Peaks), Roslyn (little coal mining town), and Suncadia Resort. North Bend has outlet malls for shopping, great hikes on Mt. Si, and many festivals in the summer. Roslyn is a sweet old mining company that has a few great little places like the Roslyn Café that is famous for the show Twin Peaks. Suncadia Resort has a great lodge, two great parks for kids, biking trails in the summer, cross country and tubing park in the winter, and a wonderful winery with great food. Of course in the winter you are just minutes away from the four ski lifts Summit East (Hyak), Summit Central, Summit West, and Alpental. These all have lodges and offer downhill skiing, cross-country, and snowshoe trails. A few minutes away across from Central Summit there is also a huge tubing park. If you want to got for a sledding adventure there is a huge sledding hill down the way from us as well and we have sleds in the garage you are free to use. Right by the sledding hill there is a great cross-country trail. One of our all time favorite spots in any season whether it is a snowshoe adventure or a nice hike is Gold Creek Pond. That is just minutes away as well. There are great views of the Cascade Mountain Range and a perfect loop.
