This historic river property steeped in Florida history, nestled in a very serene setting on 1.5 acres of towering pines & majestic oaks, is very much like a storybook. The property boast an ancient phosphate mine, excavated during the Dunnellon boom days, circa late 1800's. This phosphate mine was bridged over to access the cabin & river.
Wondering about the property literally brings you back in time in a park like setting. You will enjoy the natural flora & fauna, some of which could be considered prehistoric, such as the large mastodon fossils in the phosphate mine, which can be viewed.
