Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
This was a beautiful rustic cabin with a great porch. It was located near hiking trails and close to downtown McCall . The photos online did make it seem more private than it was, but I would still stay here again. The only neighbor that was pretty close was across the street however the porch and windows faced a different direction so it wasn't a problem. I did have to vacuum the place before we really settled in - lots of flies which I hope they will fix for future guests. Would recommend in colder months to keep the wood stove going to warm up the cabin for the night otherwise it was a bit cold. Bring firewood! It was very relaxing and a wonderful getaway.
We had a wonderful family vacation at this unique cabin. We got to explore a different part of McCall, ... a nearby trailhead is close by too, and we enjoyed the privacy the cabin offers.
The furniture is fairly outdated. Beds were not very comfortable. The lighting on this property is crazy and for the life of us, we could not figure out how to turn the outside lights on. It is very open..including the bedrooms, so if you want privacy, say from your kids...this is not really the place for that. There is a new entryway, however it was not totally finished and you have to make a large step to get onto the entry deck or you would step in some holes. The dishwasher is the loudest one I have ever heard. At any rate, some inexpensive updating with lighting and furniture is needed here. We did love all of the windows!
Beautiful location! Brand new outdoor grill! Books and games were great! TV and Wifi were great and worked! Close to McCall but not in town. Close to day-hikes. Very convenient for whatever you wish.
