Property type house
Minimum Stay 2 - 5 nights

About the property

4 Bedroom, 3 Bathroom, Contemporary, Low Bank Waterfront Beach House

Welcome! This beautiful contemporary beach house is located on Agate Pass at the north end of Bainbridge Island. At high tide the low-bank waterfront home gives you a feeling of being at anchor. Enjoy expansive views from almost every room. Relax while watching the maritime traffic passing by. The waterfront is teeming with life. Blue herons stake out their territories along the water's edge to fish. Enjoy the osprey and kingfishers. Exploring the beach will bring out the kid in everyone. Hermit crabs, small fish, live sand dollars, sea glass, and squirting horse clams are all just steps away. The house sits on 1/2 acre with nearly 300 feet of waterfront. At low tide you can enjoy long walks on the beach.

There are 4 bedrooms. The master is on the main level with it's own bathroom. Also on this level is a 2nd bedroom with 2 twin beds and a full bathroom next to it. The lower level has 2 bedrooms. A 3rd bathroom is on the lower level.

The well appointed kitchen has a gas stovetop, 2 ovens, new dishwasher and new refrigerator. The pantry is stocked with essentials. The deck off the kitchen and dining room has a gas grill and a dining table with views of the water.

About Trish

We are a water loving family of 4. We divide our time between Alaska and Bainbridge Island.

Trish purchased this house in 2011

Why Trish chose Bainbridge Island

While living and working in the Seattle area for many years, we often dreamed of having a place on the island. It's close enough to the city to enjoy the things Seattle has to offer but feels like a world away when you get back home.

What makes this house unique

The first time we stepped into the house it was high tide. We felt an immediate tug at our hearts. It was if we were at anchor on our boat. Watching the maritime traffic out the windows or from the decks continues to be one of our favorite draws. The beachfront is ever changing with the tides. Blue herons, osprey, king fishers are busy. There are always fun things to discover on low tide beach walks. Be careful not to step on the live sand dollars!

Spacious and Comfortable

  • 5 of 5

Six of us (5 adults and a 2-year-old) enjoyed our November getaway in this beautiful waterside home. Spotlessly clean, very comfortable beds, and plenty of seating in kitchen, living room and tv nook. The kitchen is very well appointed with 2 ovens and gas range. Lovely location: minutes to the cute towns of Poulsbo and Bainbridge, plus access to the rocky beach at low tide. Very good communication with the owner. Only suggestion is for a larger outdoor trash and recycling cans.

Owner's Response: We are so glad you enjoyed your stay! We love the location on the island too. There are 3 garbage bins and a large recycle. Perhaps housekeeping did not bring them back from the pick up spot down the street. I do apologize for that.

Fantastically tranquil location

  • 5 of 5

House is large and well laid out, and includes everything you could want for a relaxing break. The beach is super quiet even on the weekends, and for a short drive any ferry ride, we couldn't have imagined a better week away from the rat race!

Peaceful with Fantastic Views & Top Notch Accommodations

  • 5 of 5

We had a small gathering of our family for my parents 50th wedding anniversary and we couldn’t have found a better location. Being a boating family, the passing boat traffic through channel was an added bonus and the kids loved combing the beach. Everything in the house was very well organized and we had everything we needed. We looking forward to staying here in the future!
