Very cute and updated cottage tucked in the middle of wine country under beautiful oak trees and rolling hills. This cottage has a full bath (double stalled shower), living room, full kitchen, and 1 bedroom with new queen size bed. Cottage has amazing views of local vineyards and is only 2 miles from town and 15 miles to the beach.
This cottage was originally built as a carriage house in the 30's. Its a very unique, charming, quite, cozy place to stay. Ride your bike or drive to local winery's or take a 15 minute drive to the beach. We are right off Highway 46 West. Located in the 'Templeton Gap' you can escape the heat, guaranteed cooler weather here with a slight afternoon breeze from the coastal influence.
Free parking, out door space, BBQ, and gorgeous views. Less then 1 mile from Paso Port, Hunt Cellars, Niner Wine Estates, Eagle Castle, Fat Cat Farm, Lone Madrone Winery, Shale Oak Winery, Red Soles Winery, Linne Calodo Cellars, Turley Wine Cellars and many more.
Owners live on property but your stay will be very private. We have 2 ranch dogs, but they are very friendly.
Hi my father John and I (Staci) have owned this farm since 1978 and we want to share this beautiful area with you. Come stay in the cool hills of Templeton. We are located on the famous Highway 46 West, in the heart of wine country. Cute tucked away cottage with a farm feel. Enjoy the weather, views, outdoor space and a romantic cozy cottage.
Staci Shepherd purchased this house in 1978
There is no other property like this, 2 minutes from Historic Paso Robles or Templeton. 20 minutes from Cayucos beach and/or Cambria beach. Also, we are surrounded by beautiful oak tress and vineyards.
Wine tasting, you can bike to over 10 local wineries .
Great place and stay. Highly recommended. Clean, quaint, and comfortable.
What an amazing experience!! We stayed for just one night in this beautiful cottage and wish we could have stayed far longer. This is located on a vienyard, with several others a short 10-15 walk or drive. Def make it a point to do the vineyards, just not that they close by 5 pm. Downtown Paso Robles is only a 10 minute drive and we had an awesome meal there. The cottage itself is very well appointed, cute and charming, with a lovely fire pit. While it's on a property with another cottage and a main house, we had plenty of privacy. I wish we could go back!
What a beautiful spot to stay and take in the beauty of the Paso Robles wine region! Close to everything - wineries, olive farm, walnut farm, Paso Robles, Templeton. So much to see and do in a short distance and the views as you wind your way through the region are absolutely stunning! The Carriage House was extremely well outfitted and so comfortable. Wish we could've stayed a few more days.
It is such a nice place to get away! We so much enjoyed eating dinner outside and looking at the vineyard. It is a very clean place with tasteful decorations that make you feel at home. You won't go wrong in staying here!
This was our very first time using VRBO as we normally stay in hotels. Well, we couldn't have asked for a better place to start this journey. We loved our little place! The bed was confortacle, the views are breathtaking and the daily visits from the dogs made us feel right at home. I would recommend this to anyone that would like to stay in the area.
An added bonus that we didn't understand until we arrived is that we were literal smack in the middle of all the wineries!!
Cheers! Until we meet again
Cottage is located in rural setting but within minutes to Paso Robles and Templeton. This is a perfect place to just relax and BBQ or go wine tasting. Property is surrounded by winery's on all sides.
