Local atracction: Miami is one of the nation’s most well-rounded metropolitan destinations due to its arts scene, shopping, family attractions, and hotspot Miami Beach.
Vibrant and charged with the energy of Caribbean rhythms, Miami means big-city sophistication and seductive beaches to those who plug into its unique brand of electric charge. With a colourful arts scene, world-class shopping, water sports splendour, professional sports and a load of family attractions, Miami makes one of the nation's most well-rounded metropolitan destinations.
Coral Gables, one of the nation's first planned developments, was built almost entirely out of the coral limestone quarried there. The quarry itself was turned into Venetian Pool, an exotic swimming hole with romantic stone bridges and waterfalls. Gracious Spanish colonial-style homes line twisty streets vegetated lushly and sequestered aesthetically from the big-city world.
Local Info: Miami's overall cuisine and arts scene sway Cuban, blended with other local Caribbean influence. Floribbean cooking, a Miami invention, fuses Florida and island technique and products into one of the most popular styles to have hit in many decades.

Another of Miami's old neighbourhoods, Coconut Grove keeps up with the times as a lively shopping and night-life scene. The majority of celebrities live on islands along MacArthur Causeway, which leads to South Beach, a.k.a. SoBe, Miami's acclaimed district for naughty and nice. Two family attractions - Jungle Island and Miami Children's Museum - have also moved along the bridge's causeway in the vicinity of Miami's busy cruise ship port. Ocean Drive, SoBe's much-photographed street, faces a wide, bustling beach and is lined with its historic Art Deco gems. Intimate, chic hotels have taken up in the jauntily painted masterpieces, their lively cafés spilling onto the side walk with hip clientele, wannabe fashion model servers, and Latin tunes.
First we missed our 8:00 a.m flight, didn't get there until 10:00 p.m. We were exhausted. As soon as we met up with Michael we were put at ease. He is so pleasant and sincere. When we walked in the apartment we were in awe. This please is amazing, very, very clean, spacious, and everything is in such good taste. There is nothing you need that the apartment doesn't provide, except food of course! There are an abundance of towels, beach towels, linens, plates, utensils, beach chairs, coolers. Everything and anything you need they made sure you have. Me and my family truly enjoyed our stay and cannot say enough good things about this place.
One more thing that I cannot forget to mention are the views, they are amazing, amazing views. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS PLACE!
We hope to return this summer!
We were 2 families who spent one week in this apartment over New Years Eve 2012. I must say it could not have been better!
The apartment is very clean and spacious. We were 8 people - 4 adults and 4 teenagers - and it never felt crowded.
Mike and Michael are great! Fast answers over mail and very helpful and welcoming on site.
We had 2 rental cars and were given 2 parking spots next to each other.
Easy to find grocery shops too. We mostly went to Publix on North Beach. Very big and clean, they have everything you need.
I will definitely recommend this place to everyone!
As i wrote in the title... from the first e-mail contact with the owner to the final key return we found everything was just perfect. We took into account many places in miami before deciding for that specific one. We were attracted by nice picturs but foremost by the reviews! At first we were a bit sceptic but over 15 positive reviews couldn't be wrong.
Three comfortable bedrooms, spacious living room, all well equipped... Beutiful views... And the positive reviews... We gave it a go and contacted the owner. I was surprised how quickly Mike responded. Very nice contact, very professional... He answered all our questions very promptly and was in generaly very helpful. We had time to make our minds but we din't need it... We booked it!
We got all the instructions, what to do where to go (it was our first booking with Homeaway so believe me we required it :-))
On site we contacted the other Mike that looks afte the apartment...guess what... He was also very helpfull, polite and professional which was appreciated :-)
The apartment was just as good as it looks like on the pictures or even better! The views by dat and by night were impressive.
The bus stop was just at the building so getting to the beach was very comfortable for anywane without a car. However we recommend taking one... To many places to see.. Everglades, Key West and many other.
I recommend this place to everybody! We will book it again if going to Miami again...:-)
Thanks Mikes! :-)
Perfect apartment, clean, lot of space.... beautiful!!
Thanks for having us....
It was a wonderful time...

Fantastic, we had a lovely time, loads of space even for our party of 8. The view is really wonderful too and the location makes it really easy to move around Miami.
Michael was there to advice us and guide us regarding anything we needed.
We enjoyed the swimming pool and the gym facilites too.
All round 5 star
4 of my friends and i arrived on the 8th of June, met by Mike who guided us to our own parking spot inside the building (which was spacious for the Jeep we had hired out). We then entered the apartment we had only seen on the pictures, and were left speechless for a good few minutes. As amazing as it looks in the pictures, you really do have to see this first hand to believe the quality.
The views from the apartment are second to none ! waking up first thing and seeing Miami from up here was inspiring.
For 5 guys who are used to their own space, the apartment was more than big enough. We all felt comfortable and literally slept like babies.
The bathrooms and kitchen were clean and full stocked up. We actually noted how surprised we were with how well the kitchen in particular was full stocked up.
Mike (and his family) who manages the apartment were always at hand next door in case we needed anything. We only had to trouble them once, for an iron which they happily gave to us and said to keep until we left.
Throughout the whole process leading up to our arrival Mike (the owner) was instant to reply to our emails and very helpful with all his advise on Miami.
Without a doubt i would not hesitate in recommending both Mike and his fantastic apartment to anyone thinking of visiting Miami. As for the city itself, what more can i say except i miss it more every week.
The property is on the jfk causeway, leading to north beach. Only 3 miles from exit of the i95.
Other Activities: North/South Beach, Sunny Isles Beach, coconut grove, aventura coral gables, key biscayne
Golf: Believe it or not, Florida boasts over 1,200 golf courses. With those kinds of choices, where do you start? What do you bring? Where can you play? VISIT FLORIDA’s Golf Expert, Frank Fenton, offers his advice on golf in Florida.
At the moment of my writing (and according to the National Golf Foundation), there are 1,054 golf facilities in Florida. Since many facilities have more than one golf course, it turns out that this equates to an astonishing 1,208, 18-hole courses.
What does all this mean? It means that, if you’re a golfer, Florida is the place. No other state comes close to the abundance of fine layouts found here. But Florida isn’t just about the world-class tour resorts seen on television. It has plenty of duffer-friendly municipal courses and historic links.
You may even be admitted to some of Florida’s private clubs if you play with a member or if you ask your home town golf pro to call ahead to arrange a game.
Or, you may want to take advantage of golf privilege cards, which offer special pricing on many courses and often include access to private clubs.
Many golf courses in area around the apartment, public/private/9 hole/18 holes.
