Enjoy the best that Welches has to offer from your balcony overlooking the golf course! This pleasing two bedroom Mt. Hood vacation condo is equipped with all the amenities and comforts for an incredible golf or ski getaway! A nicely updated interior and a great location will have you and five guests relaxing and enjoying your vacation right from the start.
The large living room, dining room and kitchen have an open floor plan for easy socializing. The living room has a very comfortable and brand new sectional sofa, a matching ottoman to put your feet up, and a large wood burning fireplace. On chilly nights you can start a fire, sit back, and just enjoy your time away. There's also a flat screen TV with cable and a DVD player for watching movies or the big game. A Wii gaming system is also available, so if you have your own games and hand-held controllers, bring them along!
Nearby, the dining room is located right by large floor to ceiling windows and has shiny hardwood floors just like the kitchen. A dining room table seats four to six, and there are extra seats at the breakfast bar for quick snacks or chatting with the cook. Meals can be eaten while watching the snow fall down outside or golfers practicing their swings in the bright sun. Preparing food here will be easy as the kitchen is well laid out and nicely stocked. Start the morning with homemade granola or omelets and end it with pan-fried trout. The balcony has a gas grill too, so preparing dinner and eating al fresco is always an option in the summer months!
The master bedroom has a queen bed, fluffy bedding, and a great view onto the course. Sliding glass doors lead out onto the balcony for some time reading outdoors, checking email with the condo's WiFi, or enjoying your morning coffee with a view. There's a very calming vibe to this room (and the whole condo) and you'll be tempted to sleep in a bit in the mornings. There's also a second TV in this room and an en suite bathroom with a tub.
The second bedroom has two queen beds, and its own access out onto a small balcony. This room has lots of closet space and cozy bedding on each bed. The second full bathroom has a walk-in shower. Six guests can comfortably sleep at this condo, as well as one well behaved dog, so bring your furry friend along for just a $10 per day fee (a $40 minimum applies). Other amenities include a washer and dryer and stereo with CD player.
This condo overlooks The Courses, Oregon's first golf course. Way back in 1928, Ralph Shattuck and George Waale built a small nine-hole golf course. Since then, this course has grown into a world-class destination for the game. After 7:00 PM, twilight golf is free! So, if you want to hike or fish during the day, grab your clubs after dinner and enjoy the cool evening breezes and a game of golf.
With its central location in the Cascade Mountain Range, you're perfectly located to explore Mt. Hood. Winter skiing at Timberline and Ski Bowl are only 30 minutes away, and the surrounding National Forest lands offer endless opportunities for snowshoeing, snowmobiling, and cross-country skiing. In summer, pick a hiking trail and set off for the day on an adventure! There's also fishing in the Sandy or Salmon rivers, as well as kayaking and canoeing. After a day enjoying the mountain air, if you don't feel like cooking, just head to The Rendezvous Grill for plates of sockeye salmon and smoked chicken, or order a pizza from Mogul Mountain Pizza for a stress-free dinner.
Whether you hit the ski slopes or tee up on the golf links, this Welches condo makes a wonderfully cozy and unbelievably convenient home away from home on Mt. Hood!

Vacasa - Vacation Rentals Made Easy:
Professionally managed and cleaned homes
Local assistance 24/7 for emergencies
Secure INSTANT booking
Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
Absolutely loved waking up to such a spectacularly beautiful view!
Great location - just a few items that need some detail and would have made our stay even better!
overall was a nice place to stay, the view was great of the golf course and the weather was awesome. our stay was short but would go back again.
Very clean home. Nice view and perfect location
Overall, we were very happy with our stay. The condo was a quick drive to the ski area we wanted to visit and was priced the best of any others I looked at. The unit itself had comfy beds and couch. The pillows were fairly flat and could probably be replaced. The kitchen is somewhat updated and worked fine for us. The bathrooms are a little dated, but other than a somewhat noisy master shower, they worked just fine. The view is what really sold us on this unit and we were not disappointed. It was gorgeous and there are plenty of big windows to see it from. We also enjoyed the game shelf since we did have some rain during our stay. We would return if we came back to this area on another vacation.
We really enjoyed our vacation here. The condo was plenty big enough for our group of 6. The bathrooms are a little dated, but other than a somewhat noisy master shower, they worked just fine. The heaters in the bathrooms were nice. Beds were comfy, but pillows were kind-of flat and could probably be replaced, or bring your own if you're able. We really enjoyed the games available. The deciding factor in booking this condo, other than the good rate compared to others available, was the view. It did not disappoint. Beautiful-and very big windows to see it through. It's also a very short ride to the ski area we wanted to visit. We would return if we vacationed in this area again.
