About Vacasa, OR - Central Oregon Office

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a websitecould be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Quaint but Outdated

 • 1 of 5

Interesting place. Overall very dark with bad lighting. AC did not work properly and would get very muggy in the house. Not able to open windows with the smoke. The deck in the front had broken chairs and very large weeds falling onto patio. The bedspreads were dirty and disgusting. The carpets definitely needed shampooing! We did not have high expectations, but definitely did not meet them.

Sunriver can meet a variety of needs, and Vacasa makes a visit easy.

 • 5 of 5

Whether it is summer bicycling or winter skiing or just a place to stay while visiting the sights of central Oregon or using two golf courses or boating on the river, Sunriver seems convenient and full of amenities. Those with airplanes seem to be able to taxi to their doors, but the rest of us common folk do nicely as well. We did not have time to check out the nature center and the observatory. There are charges, but not exorbitant ones. Shops and restauranrts are varied and meet most needs.

The property itself was satisfactory. Vacasa and it's relationship with VRBO are the reasons I would never stay here again. The rate advertised was ~$240 per night stay and the pet fee was reasonable, however, the cleaning fee was outrageous given the level of cleanliness of the home when we arrived (stains on the carpet) and the length of stay and between that, the 25% taxes charged per night and not only a booking fee but a service fee as well equated to more double the nightly rate quoted per night overall. Had I had any other option I would not have chosen nor will I ever chose to reserve with Vacasa or VRBO ever again. The false advertising and exorbitant amount of additional charges make the stay not worth it at all.

great location, but dated and dusty

 • 3 of 5

Great location and access to outdoor space, however the property is in need of a deep clean. The condo was tidy, but there were cobwebs, dust and spiders. The couches and large lazy boy chairs have seen better days, and the carpet is old, stained and dated. The clothes dryer is broken. It runs for a few minutes then turns off... this was very inconvenient with two children under the age of 3. Fortunately we didn't spend much time indoors. If this condo gets some updated furniture and a thorough cleaning we would stay again solely because of the location. Otherwise, we will try to find somewhere else that is more comfortable.

Great location and adequate accommodations for multigenerational family trip

 • 4 of 5

This is not a posh abode...but we aren't a family who cares if we can bring our dog, the place is clean and the price is right. We had two teenage boys, grandma, a set of parents, and a mellow labrador. Grandma got the nice master suite, the boys got the twin beds and the folks got the hide-a-bed in the living room. The layout worked perfectly. In the morning we had breakfast and coffee on the rickety porch overlooking the grassy commons and in the afternoon grandma read her books in the shade on the private patio nearest the parking area. The HVAC system in the condo kept it comfortable at all times. The condo provided towels to be used at the SHARC which was a nice perk.

The Village and the SHARC are within walking distance for a fairly spry 82 yo and an easy bike for anyone younger. The location was awesome!

Most everything in the condo is outdated (clean) but works. There are a shortage of forks and spoons and dinner plates if you don't want to run a load of dishes every meal.

We had the pleasure of seeing an owl in the trees on the grassy commons side of the condo as well as watching bird shenanigans in the trees.

Overall, it was a good deal. The location was perfect and the lodging adequate. Perfect for us and our family.
