Beautiful Clean Comfortable Casita!

  • 5 of 5

We truly enjoyed our stay at Casita Elena B. The house was clean and full of southwestern character. The kitchen was well-equipped and it was very helpful to find coffee filters plus creamer and sugar available. We enjoyed using the back patio (very private) for breakfast and happy hour, and the air conditioners in each bedroom made sleeping comfortable. We would definitely return to Casita Elena if we return to Santa Fe!

A clean, well-maintained property at an extremely convenient location near downtown

  • 4 of 5

Extremely comfortable rental unit, 10-12 minutes' walk to Santa Fe Plaza and close to the Vargas Center Mall. It was about a 15 minute drive to the Santa Fe Opera, the main purpose of our visit. The kitchen was well-equipped, the living room and dining areas were comfortable, as were the bedrooms. The patio with table for eating was very nice. The washer and dryer funtioned well. Cable TV worked well. The main drawback, which makes us rate 4 stars instead of 5, was that the wifi was down during our stay and could not be fixed. The owner plans to switch to a new service provider. A minor problem was the parking in the rear for the 2nd car, which was a bit tight. Taking everything into consideration, we would like to rent there again next summer and we have no problem recommending this rental to others.

Location and comfort of this home are absolutely perfect!

  • 5 of 5

We felt right at home there, enjoying breakfast and lunch in the backyard, AC in the bedrooms and southwestern accents all around us - a true Santa Fe experience ... and only half a mile from the Plaza! Rebecca was easy to reach and answered our questions promptly ... she, truly, is an ideal hostess!

Conveniently located and cozy

  • 4 of 5

This property is conveniently located about 5 blocks south of the plaza - easy walking distance even when acclimating to the elevation (I live at sea level). The house was accurately pictured on the website. It was attractively decorated and well equipped for a rental property. We did bring some of our own equipment because we could since we drove to Santa Fe. The house was very clean. The beds were very comfortable as was the bedding etc. We really enjoyed the patio! It was very quiet and private. We had breakfast out there every morning and enjoyed a night cap out there every evening. The weather during the day was just too warm to enjoy being outdoors. We found the owner to be very helpful and responsive. The hot water heater died one morning after breakfast but the owner got it fixed within a few hours. We would definitely return to the house but maybe not in July, and would recommend this house to others.

Cute Adobe in Santa Fe

  • 4 of 5

The photos provide an accurate representation of this cute adobe. We enjoyed our stay and Rebecca was always available to address any concerns/inquiries before, during and after our stay. The only negative we experienced was that there were several patio chairs with disintegrated webbing which could be a liability if one didn't notice when sitting down. Other than that, everything else was fine.

Owner's Response: CHAIRS! They were promptly replaced within 1 day. The sun had finally beat them down. They didn't mention that they surround a lovely granite table that will easily fit 6, a rare find on a patio in town. As well as twinkle lights, fully fenced and gated, and secured from the inside. Our renters love this patio! Rebecca

Perfect!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in this house for a long weekend, there to see the International Art Festival. It was awesome! Plenty of room, the kitchen had everything we needed, two bathrooms so we didn't need to share and it was decorated really nice. We especially liked the back patio. It was fenced and shady, we spent each evening out there having drinks and snacks-it was a great spot and very quiet. The house is close to everything so we were able to walk to old town, restaurants and shopping. We loved it and will plan to go back!

Notes:
This home is very well appointed. All beds are very high quality, all furniture is leather, or custom built for the home. Original art in every room by artist TODD WINTERS, formally of Taos. Sun Light fills the home by day, and Exterior Twinkle Lights come on at dusk. A favorite home for repeat visitors to Santa Fe.
