We grew up on the Jersey shore and always wanted to be able to witness the beach lifestyle as adults. After moving to California, we found Imperial Beach 17 years ago and our family has been enjoying IB ever since.
Ron purchased this condo in 2013
We love the feel of Classic Southern California and came to Imperial Beach because it is one of the last untouched beaches in California. Since this is our second home it is lovingly maintained and available for you to enjoy the many aspects of Imperial Beach that we do. Flanked by the Pacific Ocean to the West, the Tijuana National Wildlife Refuge to the East and South San Diego Bay from the North, our condo is nestled between miles of uncrowded beaches, beautiful surf and unparelled open space and wetlands teeming with wildlife. There is so much to see and do in Imperial Beach from swimming or surfing at the beach, to a walking tour of public art, to a nature walk and bird watching experience at the Estuary, or to simply relax and enjoy the dolphins coasting by. Don't forget the beautiful sunrises and sunsets.
Imperial Beach is quiet and peaceful and we fell in love with this Ocean Front location with fabulous views located on the beach. We noticed that IB's location also allowed us to be able to visit the City of Coronado and its many amenities in minutes as we are located nine miles away and enjoy visiting Coronado and the Historic Hotel Del. Lastly, due to IB's location we are also able to visit the beautiful City of San Diego as it is approximately 20 minutes away which give us numerous opportunities to witness the cities amenities.
We absolutely loved our stay at your condo! The pictures do not do it justice! Everything we needed was there for us, just as they said it would be. We came to spend Christmas with our son who is in the Navy and stationed on Coronado, and to be able to spend quality time with him in the condo and on the beach was amazing! We loved getting up every morning and watch the waves crashing in the beach was so calming, but the sunsets were the most amazing we have ever seen! If our son continues to be stationed in Coronado we would most definitely love to come back, and we will tell everyone we know to try to come here if they are looking for a place to stay!

The best beach location in Imperial Beach: away from crowds and town (but town is easy to walk to), quiet (except for some helicopter traffic), and amazing, wide, unobstructed views of the very-close ocean and distant Coronado Islands (and to the east, the estuary). Exploring the mouth of the Tijuana River and its rich bird life was an unexpected delight. The condo was clean, orderly, functional and well-equipped, with casual decor. Indoor seating and balcony are perfectly arranged for ocean viewing in any weather. Communication with the owners was prompt and helpful. Highly recommended.
a very special spot just about in the ocean but sadly this 90 year old can no longer take those steps!
The condo is perfect. It is well stocked with everything you need from dishes to toilet paper! The location is great, right on the beach and very quiet. There were not a lot of people crowding the beach. We felt like it was all for us! The owners are great and easy to communicate with. We will definitely be back to escape our AZ summers!
Let me just say that we go to California every year and Ron was by the far the easiest person to work with. The condo was bigger than we anticipated and gave my family of four enough room to spread out. You are literally right on the beach and there were a couple of nights that I thought the waves were going to crash against the windows. The beds were comfortable and they had extra amenities like shampoo and lotion in case you forgot. Beach gear was there which was a plus even though we brought our own. The laundry room is a bit scary but it does the job. The kitchen had everything you needed the only suggestion would be a blender, for morning smoothies or margaritas :). There is helicopters around but the waves cover the noise pretty good and having your own parking space helped especially when the weekend was coming. My family enjoyed the location and the condo was comfortable.
If you love the beach and ocean this is the place for you. The Pacific Ocean and sand of Imperial Beach front this property. Unlimited spectacular views of San Diego skyline, Coronado Island, Coronado Bridge, Point Loma/Cabrillo State Park, Mexico's Coronado Island and IB Pier can be witnessed from your oceanfronot condo. If you want to adventure you are minutes from Silverstrand State Beach and the streets of Coronado which is home to the Historic and Famous Hotel Del Coronado. In twenty minutes and you can be in downtown San Diego's Gaslamp District, Seaworld, World Famous San Diego Zoo, Mission Bay, Point Loma, Balboa Park and other beautiful beaches in San Diego.
