We come to Blowing Rock every fall break and my children love it. This was the perfect place for me and my three girls to stay. It was across from the park, we at at town tavern and bistro Roca and loved the food and wines. We will be back!

Park View, Blowing Rock

This unit is perfection! It's a convenient and beautiful location. You can walk to many restaurants and shopping, and there's even a little wine bar at the bottom of the stairs from the entrance! This place is perfect for a romantic getaway or a girls trip! It has a well stocked kitchen and it was spotless all over, a wonderful experience, can't wait to return!

Cute property

We really enjoyed this cute little property with great location. It was well maintained and fit our needs perfectly for a short weekend. The downside was that there is no provate parking so daytime parking on the streets is very limited and only allowed for 2 hrs. You either have to park a couple blocks away and hoof it or keep moving your car around. I'm also deducting one star for property management. It took me 6 days and just as many calls/emails to complete the reservation because the management company offers no form of secure credit card payment. You either have to email them your credit card number or talk directly to the owner who is very difficult to catch. In this day and age, accepting Paypal or some simple form of accepting secure online credit card processing should not be asking too much.

Owner's Response: Robert, each of the cute apartments has its own designated parking space directly across the street from the building, steps away from the apartments and private parking for one car for each unit. I do not understand your complaint that there was no private parking. I am sorry you felt that your booking process was cumbersome. It is not necessary to speak with the owner to book the property or charge to a credit card and a pretty fast process overall as a rule.

Nearly Perfect

This is a fully equipped apartment located in the heart of BR. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Very clean and comfortable. Only drawbacks are a very small coffee maker and, unless you are an early riser, the street will be a bit loud with trash collection, commercial vehicles and school traffic. Not terrible, but noticeable.

Owner's Response: Stephen, we aim for perfection, not near perfection so will see about adding a larger coffee maker to the unit. We find that most people who stay in the heart of town do so so that they can walk to all the restaurants for all meals. As far as street noise, we are a pretty quiet little village but if you are "sleeping in" on a Monday morning you will probably hear a garbage truck around 8 or so--just goes with downtown living. I think that would be the case and more so in any downtown area. The trade off is the walk to everything location and the beautiful park across the street!

Perfect Getaway!

My daughter and I stayed at Park View in downtown Blowing Rock for a long weekend in April. The condo was beautiful, comfortable, and very tastefully decorated, as well as being convenient to all the shops and restaurants downtown. We enjoyed our stay and can't wait to go back!

Weekend on Main Street

We enjoyed our stay in Blowing Rock. This was the first time we stayed right on Main Street and it was awesome! Our apartment fit the listing description perfectly if not better. It had a cozy loft feel, plenty of room and was very clean. Even though it was a little cold on our visit the apartment had a great little private patio for sitting and enjoying a glass of wine. Super convenient to everything.......can't wait to stay there again!

The village of Blowing Rock is everyone's favorite mountain resort destination, a charming pedestrian oriented village with town parks to enjoy strolling and wonderful shops and restaurants. Surrounded by National Park Service lands and Pisgah National Forest.
