wonderful, cozy, perfect place to stay!

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful time staying here last spring! It is extremely comfortable and a great location! We were just a couple blocks away from the BART which made getting around super easy! The back yard is private and cute. We had a BBQ one day. Great vegetation everywhere! Tons of restaurants and shops just blocks away. The owner lives on the other side of the unit, and he was extremely friendly! We really enjoyed meeting him. We couldn't have been happier with our experience and hope to come visit again in the future. We felt completely safe and really enjoyed the neighborhood. I highly recommend it! We went to concerts in Oakland while we were there and our friends that stayed in Oakland were very jealous of our cute home! Easy to access Oakland or San Fran from this location. The house was clean and spacious. Enjoy! We did.

Lovely stay

  • 5 of 5

We had a lovely time staying in this clean and welcoming property. It was well equipped and the owner Bruce Clotworthy was very kind and helpful. My husband and I were there with our 2 daughters and 2 grandsons (ages 4 and 15 months). We had a great stay and would definitely return there on a future visit to Berkeley.

We loved this house!! It was perfect

  • 5 of 5

We had a mini family reunion here, this past week. Bruce was extremely accommodating... From questions we had prior to booking to the day we left. We left like they described the house perfect. It was cozy and relaxing, the kids enjoyed the back yard and the flowers were beautiful. They had ecofriendly cleaning supplies and fully stocked kitchen! We were also impressed with the Williams Sonoma spices! The home was even better than the pictures!!! I would strongly recommend and stay here again.

Great place

  • 5 of 5

What a wonderful place to spend a week!. We would have stayed longer, but it was booked right after us so we had to move out. Everything was clean, the flowers on the patio were all in bloom and a very cheerful place to sit, and the kitchen was well equipped so we could prepare some meals and could choose to eat on the patio or in the nice dining room. The best part was the friendly, helpful owner. He did not bother us but was there to answer questions or replace a light bulb when it was needed. Some nice small restaurants and coffee shop are very close yet this is on a tree shaded residential street. Hope to return sometime! Thank you for a lovely visit.

Beautiful, Quiet, and Close to Transit

  • 5 of 5

This apartment was clean and bright and the private yard was perfect for our dog. The washer and dryer is great to have for a long stay, and the owner was friendly and professional. Good wifi, but if you are a gamer it's a little slow, email and streaming netflix worked fine.

Excellent Stay!

  • 5 of 5

This was the perfect rental home for us during our week stay in Northern California. The bungalow is Very well maintained and easy to use. Love the layout! The BART was only 3 blocks away, which made it easy to commute to business meetings in downtown SF. Parking was easy on the street and there were some great restaurants and awesome grocery store (Berkeley Bowl) close by. My one year old son came with me on this business trip and he enjoyed the pocket parks very close to the house. Bruce, the owner of the property, is very accommodating and kind. Would definitely stay here again when I am back in the area. Highly recommend this property!
