The apartment is situated in a small, secure, apartment building, set back slightly from the road and accessed via a walkway and through an outer security door with entryphone.

The apartment has an entrance hall, off which are 2 bedrooms (one double & one twin) and a bathroom with bath and shower over.

A short flight of stairs leads to a very comfortable sitting room with dining area. This room enjoys unobstructed views of the well kept communal gardens. Off the sitting room is a fully equipped galley kitchen with electric stove, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine etc.

Other amenitiies include:

The apartment is very comfortable and extremely well provided with extras like basic cooking items,local maps and umbrellas! The 2 bedrooms downstairs are small but with good quality beds and linen. The living room upstairs has comfy sofa and chairs, good wifi connection and dining table overlooking the shared garden. The flat is an easy 10 minute walk to the East Putney tube station and also Putney overground train. The tube is on the District line and very convenient to Kensington museums as well as Hampton Court, Wimbledon and Kew Gardens. There are nice walks along the Thames path to Hammersmith. Putney has lots of places to eat- Carluccios at Putney Wharf and Vera Italia near Carlton drive were both good. Booking the flat was easy and efficient and both the owner and local contact were very helpful. A very nice base for our week in London!

Comfortable apartment with lovely outlook

We stayed for 3 weeks in the apartment and were quite comfortable. We appreciated the condiments, food wrap etc left for us, so we didn't need to buy everything. The on -site manager Charlotte was very friendly and efficient and helped with queries. The apartment was well equipped and all appliances etc worked properly.

Being accustomed to a Queen sized bed, we found the double bed wedged against the bedroom wall to be too cramped, so the second bedroom was needed. It is hard to imagine 4 people staying in the apartment comfortably, however perhaps a short stay might be okay. Similarly, 3 weeks without a dishwasher became tedious but for a shorter stay might be fine.

We would definitely stay here again and have already recommended it to others.

Very nice apartment

We stayed in this very nice apartment with nice garden with 2 adults and 2 teenagers. The apartment is nicely furnished, good beds, and very well equipped (except for the dishwasher).

The neighbourhood is very nice (lots of restaurants, and shopping center nearby) and walking distance to the subway station, train station and ferry. Overlooking a nice garden, which is great for a morning coffee. Lots of squirrels and we even spotted a fox. Quite amazing for being in the centre of London. The only little downside is some noise of airplanes when the windows are open. But certainly a place to recommend. Caretaker was very friendly and helpful.

Overall we were satisfied

The property was as described and overall we were satisfied. The upstairs exceeded our expectations and the backyard was lovely and peaceful. I had a nice chat with a neighbor who was very friendly. The location is convenient to public transportation. The local restaurants and pubs were good. The only thing we were disappointed with was the bathroom linens. They smelled of mildew, and needed a rigorous wash with hot water and a slug of bleach. With that easy fix we would be a repeat customer.

Owner's Response: Thankyou for bringing the matter of the bath towels to my attention. I have been in touch with our laundry service and they have assured me that it won't happen again. For future reference, if there are any issues at all with anything in the apartment, please let Charlotte know and she will fix it immediately, that's what she's there for. Excellent compact family apartment

This was our second stay and I hope to stay here again. Has a lived in feel so you immediately settle in. Everything works. Good location for transport and shops. Garden view is delightful.

Great place to stay for a family of four. Good location and well-appointed.

We were looking for a home away from home when we recently visited my in laws in Putney. This was perfect - it is an easy walk to both underground and overground stations. The bus will take you to Putney Heath and Wimbledon. Lots of good restaurants nearby and the shops are a short walk. The children appreciated having access to the garden. The flat really has everything you would need and is better stocked than some VRBO places we have stayed. The building is very quiet and the neighbourhood feels safe. We enjoyed it so much, my partner will be returning in November when he comes to visit his parents.

Putney is a very old part of London, approximately 5 miles south west from the heart of London's West End, Theatre district and Soho, on the south bank of the River Thames. It is a largely residential area with a bustling High Street, supermarkets, cinema, live music venues and many traditional pubs.

The apartment is a 10 minute walk to unspoiled Putney Heath and Wimbledon Common for walks, picnics and all outdoor activities. It is ideally situated for public transportation:

- 5 minute walk to East Putney tube station with fast access to Central London.

- 5 minute walk to Putney rail station with direct services to Waterloo and services out of London to Hampton Court Palace, Ascot, Windsor etc.
