This fully modern cabin sits on a small hill along the shore of Lily Lake in Conyngham Township. Located in the northeastern part of the state's Pocono and Endless mountains, the spring-fed lake boasts superb bass fishing and is surrounded by 100s of acres of public land for hiking, walking, hunting, cross country skiing, or simple viewing and relaxation.

Ideal for couples or small families, the property sleeps 1 to 4 and is easily accessible from I-80 and I-81. It is two hours north by car from Philadelphia and Harrisburg and two hours west of New York City.

The cottage is fully furnished with a queen-sized bed in the bedroom and single beds in the loft. It has a large flat-screen television with DVD player, access to Wi-Fi, and on-site washer and dryer. It has a modern kitchen equipped with gas stove, refrigerator, coffee maker, dishes, silverware, cooking utensils, and other kitchen tools. Central air conditioning and heating ensure a comfortable interior in all seasons.

Accessible from the township road by a paved private drive, the cottage has a screened-in front porch and open rear flagstone patio complete with Pennsylvania-made cedar furniture.

The grounds and lakefront are landscaped with native and exotic plants. The lakefront has a table and chairs, a fire ring, dock, paddle boat, and kayak available for guests' use. Motorboats and water skiing are also permitted on the lake, subject to certain horsepower and use limits.

Numerous Pocono ski resorts, minor-league hockey and baseball franchises, Mohegan Sun and Mount Airy casinos, local theater, movies, national and regional historic sites, shopping malls, restaurants, white-water rafting, state and local parks, and several amusement parks are within 30- to 60-minute drives.

With advance notice, guests also have the option during their stay of ordering one or more three-course meals, featuring local and seasonal ingredients, prepared and served on the property. About Sal Deluca

Our family has spent summers at Lily Lake since the mid-1950s. Each generation has used it in its own way, but the place's natural beauty, fun, and relaxation have remained mostly unchanged through the years. For the last decade, we've decided to make it our full-time home and now would like others to have the opportunity to enjoy a little bit of what we've built our lives around.

Sal Deluca purchased this cottage in 1987

Why Sal Deluca chose Pennsylvania

The Lily Lake Guest House is on a parcel adjacent to our primary residence. As our family has grown, we use for get-togethers and holidays. It's far enough to offer our family and family a bit of seclusion, but close enough that we can easily spend time together.

What makes this cottage unique

We've tried to create a place with many modern conveniences yet one that maintains the popular rustic cottage style of the 1920s. Guests can enjoy heated bathroom floors and Internet access but also bear witness to the passage of time with the simple stone-and-mortar foundation created of rock found on the property, the original yellow pine clapboard siding and Douglas Fir flooring, the open-air patio and screened porch, and the structure's simple yet functional layout.

Just perfect!

  • 5 of 5

My family and I had a delightful stay at the Lily Lake Guest House this Thanksgiving. The location was perfect and the owners really put thought into creating an ambience that was comfortable, but filled with casual elegance. They also provided supplies to make it a turnkey/relaxing experience (such as recreational equipment, cooking tools and much more).

Sal was very accommodating and great to work with when making reservations- we hope to make this an annual trip.

We highly recommend the Lily Lake Guest House to all!!!

Exceptional, as usual

  • 5 of 5

So sorry it took me so long to write. Our dog, Rocky, who has been with us at this cabin every time we have, died the day after we got home. So we've been grieving. Be that as it may, this is still our favorite place to stay. The cottage was in spectacular condition when we got there. We had a problem with ants and it was handled the same day. We had bragged so much about the chef-provided meal that we had an extra guest for dinner and NO ONE was disappointed. As is usual, I hated to leave. The cabin, the lake, the owners, the agent, the beautiful setting, nothing lets you down. We will be back as far as I can tell, every year, if not more. Love it!

Owner's Response: We are so, so sorry to hear about Rocky! He was so kind and sweet and will always be remembered. It was great to meet Karen this year. She was the perfect addition to the group. Thank you again for the kind words. We really do try to make our guests' stays easy and memorable. It's rewarding to hear that we have been successful. Can't wait to see you all again next fall (if not sooner). Happy holidays!

The owners could not be more welcoming! We rented the cabin for our wedding weekend and they accommodated our needs from day one! The owners were so sweet I can't thank them enough for their generosity and hospitality! The cabin itself is warm and welcoming and suits your every needs. Couldn't ask for a more perfect stay! Thank you again!

Lovely Lily Lake House

  • 5 of 5

What a special place!! We loved everything about our stay - a sweet, peaceful escape from the city. The cottage was so beautiful, inside and out, and impeccably clean to boot. We all appreciated the fresh floral touches throughout the home; I especially adored the little bud vase in the bathroom. (Where can I find one??) The kitchen was a dream - made meal prep and even cleanup enjoyable. As it was the season, we opted to grill most meals and dine outdoors. Deep, restful sleep came easy and made waking to freshly brewing coffee all the sweeter. (Coffee grinder noted for next time!) Enjoyed fishing and hiking around Lily Lake. Also, a short drive away, the more challenging hike to the Council Cup Overlook was quite rewarding - what a view!! To unwind, we shared wine and laughter around the campfire. All just dreamy. Sal, Bob and Elaine were so very kind. Thank you for having us, we hope to visit again!!

Owner's Response: Thanks so very much for the kind words, Randi. It was absolutely our pleasure to host your family this fall. So glad you like the little touches. We always want it to feel like home, but perhaps a more idealized version of home, one that we all wished we had time to create. As for the little bud vase, I'll have to do a little research on that and get back to you! Thanks again, and keep in touch!

Property was beautiful. Cozy and clean and beautiful.

  • 5 of 5

Loved the smell of wood and trees when we sat in the screened in porch. We kayaked and made lots of delicious meals in the well equipped kitchen. We slept so well in the comfy beds. Loved the little notes around the property to show us where things were and how they worked. This was exactly what we needed: a break from life in the city. Thank you so much.

Wonderful weekend getaway!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I enjoyed two nights over Labor Day weekend. The cottage is adorable and spotlessly clean. We were impressed by how well equipped it was and nice touches, like fresh flowers from the garden in almost every room. We used the double kayak, paddle boat and row boat. My husband enjoyed fishing (but not catching). We would definitely recommend to friends! Thank you!
