Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this homeour team is standing by!
We love Pacific City and have stayed at several properties on winter visits over the years. Pacific City is the unspoiled coastal town we remember from our youth. The Dana Lane studio has been a real find for us. High above the town and sea, the unit is spacious and light and comfortably equipped. Cooking is an option here with the tools to concoct a range of meals. Fresh seafood from Chester's can anchor a feast overlooking the setting sun. We like hiking, painting, and photography as well as adventure. Cape Kiwanda is a geological treasure to explore--respectfully. The beach to the south of Pacific City along the bay provides long and solitary walks. The Delicate Palate Bistro for dinner and Grateful Bread Bakery are excellent places to satisfy your appetite for quality cuisine. We'll be back...
it was. My girlfriend first time in Oregon and I think I chose the right place .. she loved it
Nice place however the cleaning staff could pay a little more attention to details.
This place is in a lovely spot if you have a vehicle. It's high up on the hill overlooking the town and the ocean. The bed was very soft which may be fine if you don't like a firm mattress, or particularly if you are travelling alone. We found it to be uncomfortable though.
Otherwise, it was a great place. The owner is upstairs, and we never heard from her at all. There is a huge washer and dryer available which came in handy with trips down to the beach in the rain and mist.
This is a sunny studio with a beautiful view, just as the website shows. We were comfortable in the bed and the love seat is in good condition. There is not a stove but in the cupboards there is an electric skillet and an electric burner. There is also a convection oven and microwave. I didn't cook so I can't report on the pots and pans but I don't think there was much in that department. We enjoyed ourselves and it was a very quiet neighborhood. No one was in the house above us. We saw very few people up in the neighborhood.
