This Wialea Ekahi unit is a one bedroom, two bath unit (with a queen hide-a-bed couch), located on the ground floor. It has an exceptional garden view with 2 Lanai’s. The front Lanai is equipped with a stainless gas grill for outside dining and the other offers a private garden setting off the bedroom with an array of orchids. This unit is fully equipped with all that you will need for a great vacation on Maui.
This unit has a great view looking down at pool # 3 (40 Yards). This is a quiet pool, and very conducive to complete relaxation. You will find beach towels and beach chairs for your use as well.
This unit is only an 5 min. walk down the private greenbelt to our pavilion and main pool located right on beautiful Keawakapu Beach. This is one of Maui's best swimming and snorkling beaches (very safe). BBQ and dinning facilities are located at the pavilion, which makes for a great place for a party or maybe just to enjoy a glass of wine and watch the sunset. You can't help but enjoy yourself.
My wife and I have been going to maui for past 6 years and we have stayed in this area but this was by far the best accommodation we have had. Dealing with Kirk has been excellent, we are planning to return next year for 3 weeks. The property had everything you could ask for, the beach was so close, the pool was steps away from the condo. Central location in Wailea, close walk to the shops. It was great, highly recommend.
Third year in a row to spend a couple weeks vacation in the fall. Love the area, love the grounds, love the pools and the beach. A little piece of paradise. And the owner is easy and simple to deal with. Will be returning...again and again and again.....
We have been coming to the S Kihei/Wailea area of Maui for over 20 years. This was the first time staying at Ekahi Village. The experience was awesome from the beginning booking the rental to check out. The owner Kirk was just outstanding. He is extremely helpful and quick to respond to you via email.
LOCATION!!! Ekahi Village is a older well established condo community located ocean front on Keawakapa Beach ( swimming, snorkeling and sunsets) accessible by a meandering picturesque landscaped path or accessible by car just around the corner with parking adjacent to the beach and Ekahi's beach front pool. Enjoyed morning beach walks on the boardwalk along the Wailea Marriott, Wailea Beach, Wailea Point (one of my favorite areas with private gorgeous multi-million dollar homes amazing views !), Four Seasons Resort, and Polo Beach (another favorite of mine). Pictures, videos, post cards etc. cant even describe the amazing sights of the cliffs, miles of endless beach, tropical vegetation, crystal clear blue waters, sea-turtles, birds, geckos, and other Hawaiian nature and beauty!
Unit 45A is a lower corner unit. Kitchen is well stocked and very functional. The view from the kitchen window offers lush tropical vegetation and a view of the pool area. The dining area adjacent to the kitchen and living room which looks onto the front lanai (with a Weber grill with plenty of propane) offer a great view too. Living space is very comfortably furnished and pleasant. With 2 full bathrooms, and a full size stackable washer/dryer. The master bedroom is a good size with comfortable king size bed and 2nd lani with beautiful Hawaiian plants. Master bathroom offers a wonderful rock floor and glass wall shower and beautiful designed sink. Plenty of closet space in master bathroom. The condo is cooled by a/c unit in the master bedroom and several ceiling fans throughout. We used the a/c briefly twice to cool the bedroom. It is effective and efficient. With the windows open, blinds and shutters adjusted to keep the sun out and ceiling fans going when we were inside during the day, it was very comfortable and cool. Enjoyed our own beach here at Ekahi, Big Beach at Makena State Park (water is a little rough) and Polo Beach, snorkeling at Ahihi Natural Reserve, lava area in Makena. Lots to do and see in south Wailea area. Many great restaurants and shops in the area. Breathtaking sunsets and relaxation. Mahalo Kirk for a GREAT holiday! We'll be back!
We arrived to spend 15 days at this unit on October 1st. We have been going to Maui for over 30 years and have been in many different places in the Kihei and Wailea areas. This is the 1st unit that actually felt like a home (probably due to the many family pictures scattered throughout the unit). If you like all the latest in decorating (ie granite tops, stainless steel, etc.) then this unit is not for you. If you like a great unit that feels like home and has everything you could possibly want at a great value then rent this unit now. Also if the walk to the beach is difficult then you can drive the public parking area next to the Ekahi Village and use your access key to walk into the main swimming pool and access the beach without a long walk. A great value and hope you have a great visit, we did.
My husband, 4 year old son and I spent two weeks in this condo over Easter this year. The condo is exactly as the pictures show and was extremely spacious and well stocked. The owner was very easy to deal with and all my inquiries were answered quickly. The location of this condo is excellent for getting to and from both Wailea and Kihei. The unit itself is a ways away from the pool, however we enjoyed our daily walk there and back and often made a second hike down for sunset. If you do walk down to the beach it is just a short walk along the sand before you are on the Wailea Beach Walk and can make your way all the way to polo beach. You cannot get better value in Wailea than this unit in this complex. We would absolutely recommend this place for families and would definitely consider another stay here.
Our family of four stayed at this condo for five days in July. It was a comfortable and pleasant home away from home. Pros: great price for Wailea area, very responsive owner- reservations and payment were easily accomplished, quiet & beautifully landscaped grounds, excellent beach, full-size new washer and dryer, nicely sourced kitchen, nice master shower, great BBQ grill and pretty lanai. Cons: minimal road noise, long'ish walk to beach and beach-front pool, no pool toys or games allowed in beach-front pool (I recognize this could be a "pro" for other guests!), somewhat dated furnishings. Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this condo to family and friends. It was a great bargain for a comfortable stay in an upscale neighborhood next to one of my favorite beaches on Maui.
