About Julie Zeitlin
I'm a Los Angeles, California, native. I moved to Nashville in 1999 to pursue music, and currently travel back and forth between Nashville and Los Angeles for business. I’m a UCLA graduate with one of those highly useful English degrees. I’ve worked as a copywriter, copy editor, music executive, musician and songwriter, and most recently, a real estate agent. I have my real estate license in Tennessee, and am currently in real estate school to get my license in CA as well. If you’re thinking of moving to Nashville, please let me know—I can recommend some GREAT agents. A few personal notes … I love hanging out with friends, traveling, playing music (I have a band in Nashville), reading, learning, and tons of outdoorsy stuff like bike-riding, hiking, tennis, swimming, power walks. A true California girl, I’m a life-long beach junkie. I’m also into weight-lifting and yoga. More than anything, I love to laugh and try not to take myself too seriously. But I take my short-term rental business VERY seriously … it’s my #1 priority. If you need anything or have any issues while staying there, I will make it right.

Why Julie Zeitlin chose Porter Heights
East Nashville is a wonderful neighborhood, a real 'community' - which I never had growing up in giant L.A.

Yard needed to be mowed but room was clean and perfect. Bathroom was very spacious and bed was comfortable. This room/unit was perfect for what we needed for a quick stay in Nashville. Easy access to downtown bars and restaurants. We would definitely stay again and look forward to returning.
Nice size room but needs attention
The owner has a series of very curt messages posted on the walls including in part "don't try this door". Also, entering the room "one minute before 4:00PM or leaving at 11:01AM" would result in a rather large charge on the damage deposit. This was the tone we got through our 3 day stay. The bed was not very comfortable nor were the sheets --100% polyester. The bathroom shower head and shower door surround both had some black scum on them When we got there Friday the crab grass weeds were a foot tall and were growing freely in the walkway and yard. This was corrected the next day.
I have photos of these conditions.
We were not very happy with the room or the attitude of the owner.
This is a great place for a couple to stay. It is just as described on the site. We would definitely stay there again!
This place is spacious, clean, reasonably priced, and had everything I needed from a comfy bed, to microwave/fridge/coffee maker, to Wifi and a hair dryer. I had a lovely stay!
My husband and I enjoyed our stay! Great location in a quiet neighborhood. Not far from downtown. The place itself was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We also appreciated the binder that Julie provided containing info about local restaurants, check out instructions, etc. Definitely had a good experience!
Great place! Quiet neighborhood. Quick ride to downtown and east side hotspots. Easy check in. Great host.
East Nashville is bubbling over with fun things to do - restaurants, art galleries, cute shops, several high-end ice cream parlors, coffee houses, bars, a musical instrument store, bicycle shops and so much more.
