4 season 1700 sq ft, 2 story home with mountain view and beachfront
We have been married for 32 years, grew up in Kingston, Ont and moved to Ottawa after we married. Recently, we purchased a permanent home on Blue Sea Lake where we can enjoy the beauty of this area year round. We LOVE hosting our grown children, family and friends at this beautiful lake!
Owner purchased this House in 2011
Why Owner chose La Vallée-de-la-Gatineau Regional County Municipality
This property is unique in that it offers all the comforts of home with waterfront that is easily accessible and steps from the deck. The bay is a quiet and sheltered from the lake wind gusts allowing us to sit on the covered deck in almost any weather. Fishing is bountiful. The lakefront offers a spectacular mountain view. The area itself is extremely beautiful with the drive from Ottawa scenic and picturesque. My favorite time of day is the early morning when I sit in my living room or outside on the sectional couch watching the mist rising from the lake when the family of ducks drift by the dock as the sun is rising. The family of bald Eagles will soar above...Peaceful and serene!
What makes this House unique
The hot tub on our covered deck is located 2 steps from the sliding door making it ideal for hot tub soaks all year round and in all weather. It overlooks the firepit and lake where the sun rises or the full moon glistens off the lake. We like to call it our little 'nordik spa!'

The chalet was really nice. Enough space, practically arranged. The jacuzzi was a winner!
Ideal Family Holiday
My family loved our stay at this lovely house! We range in age from 5 months to 70 years, and while the infant was content, the rest of us were delighted! The house is beautiful and welcoming, with everything we could possibly need and the lake was warm and pristine. Swimming, canoeing, kayaking, and fishing filled our days, followed by leisurely, relaxed dining, and quiet evenings at the firepit. We will definitely be back. I highly recommend this vacation spot.
