The condo is located at Marbella del Caribe one of the most prestigious beachfront condominiums in Isla Verde Avenue. Condo is on the West 'Oeste' Tower, the only tower with unobstructed beach views. We paid a premium price for the condo to be on the West Tower, but it was worth it as it makes a huge difference on the view, the privacy and the tranquility. Being on the West Tower also guarantees you absolutely no noise from the late night parties held at the rooftop of the Waterclub Hotel.

Everything is just as Beatrice says. Great view, easy access to everything you need, even without a vehicle. We had a minor hiccup upon arrival, but Beatrice took care of it right away. The remodel and new furniture turned out real nice. I'd stay here again.

If you are looking for a perfect vacation rental, this rental is for you!

The location and our host, Beatrice Cautino, were the best! We were very happy and our expectations were exceeded!

The rental is located right on one of the best swimmable beach areas and a short walk to the Verde Coral Reef Marine Reserve for easy snorkeling right off the beach. Also, located minutes from the airport and grocer store. Restaurants, bars, shops, car rental and watersport rental activities are within walking distance. If you rent a car, there is easy access to the expressway to drive to Old San Juan, El Yunque National Forest and to the Fajardo Ferry Terminal to catch a ride to Isla Culebra in Farjado. The parking garage under the building was very secure and convenient. Since we rented a car for our stay, we did not use the public transportation but is conveniently available right outside of the building.

The quiet apartment is on the 16ht floor of the building providing great unobstructed views up and down the beach from the balcony and bedroom windows. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony during breakfast, lunch and relaxing during the evening. We could not have been happier with this vacation rental and Beatrice Cautino was a wonderful host. The remodel of this rental had just been completed prior to our stay and was beautifully done!

The kitchen is well equipped with a lot more than I had expected including full kitchen appliances and small appliances such as a toaster oven, toaster, coffee maker and even a waffle maker. Dishes, glasses, silverware, pots and pans were available and we didn’t miss anything needed to prepare our meals. Beach chairs and a small cooler were also available which made our days at the beach very comfortable.

Thank you, Beatrice, for sharing such a beautiful rental with us and being such a gracious host! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Puerto Rico and would return to your rental without hesitation.

Great central location with fantastic view!

Booked this condo based on it's central location and beach access. The condo delivered on both - very easy access to San Juan and the northeast side of the island including El Yunque, Bio Bay, Fajardo, etc. The location provides the perfect balance of exploring the island and taking time at the beautiful beach just outside the front door of the building. The condo unit is older and not in great shape but the owner has started to make some nice upgrades by updating the bathroom and adding AC. The view from the balcony is worth the older interior of the condo though! We also had a free reserved, covered parking space under the building which was very nice.

Beatrice was a fantastic host and provided a great document that included info on check-in/check-out process, places to eat, things to see/do, etc. She was also very prompt in returning our deposit, although it would be nice to have the option to pay the deposit through VRBO versus sending a personal check.

My only feedback would be to provide more basic items to make guest's stay easier. The condo does come with a "starter" pack of things like soap, shampoo, toilet paper, etc. but it is a very small quantity that our family of 4 went through in just over one day. To be fair, the listing does state that this is the case but we choose to stay in VRBO properties to enjoy the "creature comforts" of home and this is the first place we have ever stayed that didn't provide things like dish soap and extra toilet paper. Beatrice was great and provided some additional items at our request but just be aware that you will need to buy many basic supplies for your stay.

Overall, we had a great time in Puerto Rico and enjoyed this condo. Thank you Beatrice for sharing your rental with us, we will definitely consider staying here again when we return to Puerto Rico!

Wonderful Experience!

We just spend a wonderful week at Beatrice’s condo. It was very clean, modern, and just right for us. Wifi was very reliable and fast. The view was completely HEAVEN... it was perfect to wake up to it every morning, then breakfast outside on the deck and to return to it in the afternoon. We also appreciated the condo had nice Tommy Bahama beach chairs, used much during our stay, so we saved the cost of renting these from the beach vendors. Beatrice goes above and beyond to make you feel at home and welcome. She was always available and provides great recommendations for dining and things to do around the island. We will definitely contact her on our next visit to Puerto Rico

Fantastic View! Property needs maintenance...

I'm giving this property a 3 based on the fantastic view of the beach, which was really important to us. The property is in need of maintenance and upon discussion with the owner, she indicated that remodeling will be done in the summer, which would have been helpful to know prior to us booking the property. The following were reported to the owner upon arrival: black spots on the mirror walls in the living room, malfunctioning sliding door to the balcony, stains on bedroom pillow sheets, stains on the futon and futon did not seem sturdy any longer, heavy scratching on the refrigerator door, long tear on the bedroom carpet floor, peeling through out the bathroom ceiling, heavily rusted shower curtain hooks and heavily rusted complimentary beach chairs. I was taken aback by the things we found because I had specifically asked for the condo to be inspected prior to our arrival based on another guest's review to ensure we did not have the same issues. The owner responded right away and offered to have housekeeping for the minor things and for the futon she was willing to have it replaced as she indicated she had already purchased a new one. While the effort was appreciated, it was not accepted (to be clear we decided not have them addressed), and we found it unacceptable to have this happen during our stay and not be taken care of prior to our stay or most importantly full disclosed - especially since we started discussions 3-4 weeks prior to our arrival date. The location is very convenient and the building was also quiet. If / when all the mentioned details are taken care of, this property has potential to be a great place to stay.

Owner's Response: ......UPDATE: PROPERTY WAS FULLY REMODELED OCTOBER 2016. ALL THE FURNITURE, APPLIANCES, KITCHEN CABINETS, FLOOR TILES. EVERYTHING IS BRAND NEW .................................................................. ...... PREVIOUS RESPONSE: I treat my guests with respect and work hard to please everyone needs. Just like I do with all my guests, I contacted you after you checked-in to make sure you arrived safely and asked if there was anything I could do to make your experience more enjoyable. You replied back that night with the items mentioned in your review, for which I asked for 5 minutes in the apartment to replace them, but you said no. I reiterated I was not going there to inspect the apartment or clean a stain, I was going to be more efficient and just replace the things mentioned, you replied no. Since I was still baffled that someone would complain so harshly for minor things and not allow to receive help, I politely contacted again the following day and mentioned there was no need for you to be in the apartment when I passed by and that I had just purchased beach chairs, curtain rods, cushions, even an area rug. That is the level of compromise I have. I never understood why would one complain and not accept help. Things get rusted at the beach pretty fast, small stains caused by previous guests could have been unseen by the cleaning crew, things can get damage. Not even the best hotels accomplish perfection; excellence is achieved on the level of service you receive. I am glad to inform that everything I mentioned above was placed in the apartment on your checkout day. The sliding door that you had to place a little more pressure to open/close was tuned and now no effort has to be made. The yellow futon you did not find sturdy enough, was replaced by a new sofa bed. The refrigerator do still has the scratches near its handle, but it works perfectly. It is not an eye sore, unless you are looking for perfection. I am pleased you did not complain about the kitchen, bathroom (except for a small paint peal), the A/C being cool enough, Wi-Fi and cable working properly, the bed comfortable, the shower hot, the outstanding view and the convenient location.
