Cozy Private Cabin Located In The Scenic Bristol Hills

Sleeps4
Bedrooms 1

Space 800 sq. ft.
Property type cabin
Minimum Stay 2 nights

Overview

About the property

One Bedroom cabin with lovely covered porch and great views.

Deep in the woods on 38 private acres, only one mile from Bristol Mountain. Be as secluded as you want or as connected as you want with Wi-Fi, HD cable TV and excellent cell phone coverage. The only other property on our 38 acres, is our A-Frame, also available on VRBO (#442204). The two cabins are 200 - 300 yards apart, and not in sight of each other.

During the winter months, you really need a four wheel drive vehicle if it is snowy or icy The driveway gets plowed, but that doesn't always eliminate slippery spots if it stays below freezing. The driveway is very long with hills. If you come in a two wheel drive vehicle and it is snowy or icy, your chances of getting all the way up are 50/50.

Peaceful retreat

  • 5 of 5

This is a cozy little house that is perfect for having peaceful mornings, afternoons and evenings yet it is close enough to wineries, restaurants, and shops. The Naples area is beautiful to explore. This property has good hiking trails, a great deck for watching wildlife, a fun fire pit and all the comforts of home.

Beautiful and serene mountain escape

  • 5 of 5

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our week long stay at this cozy cabin. We have two children (7, 3). They shared the bedroom downstairs and we slept on the pull out couch. It was comfortable!

We enjoyed breakfast, lunch and dinner on the covered deck. We utilized the fire pit for smores. Some of my favorite moments were sipping coffee on the deck, watching the kids explore the property - discovering little frogs in the grass and collecting acorns for squirrels that we never saw :)

We hiked the trails on the property. We also explored Grimes Glen (highly recommend!), Watkins Glen, Canandaigua Lake (great park/play ground for kids and also has a nice swimming area for a small fee).

We were fortunate enough to meet Jeff and MJ! They were incredibly kind, even allowing us to check out their other property, the A frame (also incredible!).

The properties are both clean and fully stocked with the necessities. We loved our stay and hope to return.

We enjoyed the peace and quiet. Our dogs enjoyed being free. We will hopefully return one day. We also appreciate the owner putting up with us and taking care of our TV problem.

Beautifully secluded and well maintained

Perfect for a place to get away and yet stay connected. My husband is an on-line professor so he could easily keep up with classes and still enjoy a private location.

Great little cabin!

  • 5 of 5

We recently stayed here for a long weekend and loved it. The directions and area info provided before our stay were great. The driveway was no problem at all for our AWD vehicle. When we first walked in the cabin, we were greeted with a wonderful surprise as the owners had left a bottle of wine for us. Such a nice touch! The cabin was very well stocked with basic supplies and had a very cozy, homey feel to it. Lots of wildlife in the area - we saw a fawn frolicking around a few feet in front of the bedroom window early one morning. Very secluded area but only around 20 minutes to lots of food options and 40 minutes to Rochester. We liked being in a more peaceful setting so the trade off was well worth it. Would highly recommend staying here!
