As you walk inside, you will immediately sense that this peaceful, ten person townhouse is designed with your comfort in mind. The exquisite, island-inspired decor throughout the four bedrooms, two lanais, gourmet kitchen, and expansive living room invite you to relax in style. Sliding doors in each bedroom open to the lush, tropical yard with views of Mauna Kea, Kohala Mountains, and ocean horizons. From the open and airy living room, step straight out onto a covered lanai to lounge in deckchairs or grill fresh fish on the outdoor BBQ.

Just off the living room is an intimate dining area and top-of-the-line kitchen that cooks of all skill levels will love. Each meal is easy to prepare with stainless appliances, with a built-in wine cooler, and ample granite counter space. Chat with the cook in the kitchen while sitting at the bar and sipping a mai tai.

Downstairs, you'll find one of two master bedrooms. Each ground floor master has a King bed and a sumptuous attached bathroom that boasts a soaking tub, his-and-her sinks, and a walk-in shower. The upstairs master bedroom with a Queen bed also features its own lanai.

Staying in KaMilo gives you full access to a 2 acre Recreation Center with fitness equipment and multiple hot tubs and lap pool, free form pool and kiddie pool. You can also take advantage of the clean private beach club staffed with lifeguards and the Na Pua Restaurant just two miles away. What makes this house unique

This townhome is managed by Shiwota Resorts & Properties, LLC. Shig and Maya Shiwota are full time residents of KaMilo and manage several properties in KaMilo while a Director on the KaMilo HOA. In their retirement, they both stay very active. Shig manages to get in a few rounds of golf, make ukuleles and goes outrigger canoeing 3 times a week. Maya performs hula and joins Shig in outrigger canoe paddling, when she can fit it in. Together they maintain high quality of service in KaMilo's vacation rentals.

We have stayed many times in similar houses within the area. This house was equal price but much lower quality than previous houses. From drains in tubs not working, low water pressure, no or poor wifi. I would not stay again.

We had a great time at this property. It was well kept, clean, and had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. The community was nice and quiet and very family oriented. There was a market and coffee shop conveniently close by; we were not far from the Fairmont Orchid where my husband could walk to for his conference. The owners and property management company was a pleasure to work with - they were quick to respond and easy to communicate with. We left an item at the house and the owners were kind enough to retrieve and mail it back to us. We also got our deposit back in a timely manner. Overall it was a great experience!! If you're staying on this side of the Big Island - I would recommend booking with Shiwota Resorts and Properties.

We stayed at this property for 5 nts in June 2016. The house was exactly as pictured, neat and well-maintained. Gabe dropped by shortly after we arrived to welcome us, talked about the property and also about what the area had to offer: Mauna Lani beach, the Foodland plaza, Waikoloa Beach area, rec center in the complex, etc; all of which made our stay enjoyable. The house was nice to come home to at the end of sightseeing or beach jaunts. We walked and jogged then jumped into the welcome relief of the pools. My grand kids enjoyed exploring the backyard while the grownups were relaxing in the lanai. This was certainly the best VRBO property we stayed at. We aim to come back hopefully soon.

We had a large family vacation to the Big Island for 13 of us. I wanted to ensure we were comfortable and had plenty of space, so rented 2 condos from Shiwota Properties (Units 401 and 216). Unit 216 was beautifully furnished with kitchen appliances and goods we needed. We were able to barbecue and cook most nights for such a large party which was so much more convenient than dining out. There is a master upstairs and 3 bedrooms downstairs (including a 2nd master) on the bottom level where the kitchen/living area is as well. The beds and bedding were lovely and comfortable. The grandparents in our party (Grandpa is 91!) stayed in this unit since there were no stairs that they had to navigate during our stay. This unit is perfect for anyone with mobility issues. We enjoyed going to the beach club and using the many beach items in the garage of this unit, including beach chairs, masks/snorkels, and boogie boards. Having access to this equipment was so convenient! Shiwota and Shig were so easy to rent from. Everything was ready when we arrived even though we were a couple hours early. I loved the simplicity of the check in and out process with the Shiwota app. We've already recommended Shiwota properties to many friends!

The property manager, Shig, was great to find us a spot given we needed something now. The communal pool and clubhouse was fantastic. This particular property is of need of an overhaul. The plates in the kitchen were plastic, the sheets were old with holes. the towels were threadbare, there is no cable for the old tvs. The property is for sale so the current owner has no interest in putting in more money to the rental. I will stay in the KaMilo properties next time but in another unit.
