It was recently restored in old Florentine style respecting and setting off preexistent architectural elements such as the wooden beam ceilings, the stone arches and the “cotto” flooring, as well as some mural frescos which represents an element of great value. Fitted with all the necessary, so that guests can experience the magic and charm of ancient Florence while enjoying the benefits of modern conveniences.
The apartment comprises:
- an entrance-corridor which opens on to a large living-dining room with dining table and kitchenette + one double sofa bed. The livingroom opens on to a balcony facing a courtyard.
- a small storage area with washing machine
- a large bathroom with shower
- a very cosy, well furnished double bedroom with a wardrobe.
In both rooms the windows are at the back so there is no problem of noisiness.
The apartment is about 50 sq.meters in size and can accommodates 2+2 guests.
This apartment is perfect. A short walk from all of the major sights in Florence, as well as very close to the train station. The apartment itself is very nice and one that I would gladly want to live in full time. There are also some truly great restaurants very near, and Verena did an amazing job of providing me with a great list of tips/recommendations before I even arrived in Florence. And then once in the apartment she also has a very organized wealth of information at your disposal. I loved being in Florence, and a big part of that was staying in this great apartment. You should definitely choose this for your stay.
Hi, the apartment is very close to the rail station and this make it very convenient. The apartment is well kept and spacious and has a lot of supplies to cook. Verena (owner), is very nice to work with over email and was always very responsive. We met her assistant the day we arrived and she was not that friendly and could use a little training in customer service or maybe she was just having a bad day. It would have been nice if she was more helpful, we felt like we were a bother to her. So, not the welcome I would have wanted. The apartment does not get 5 stars as it is located near a bar and a few nights it was very very loud and if you are a light sleeper you wont get any sleep as the bedroom shares the same wall with the bar. The hot water was also an issue it was very hard to take a shower without getting a blast of artic water. The heated water was not reliable to taking showers was not comfortable at all. On a good note, they apartment was equipped with excellent WiFI and this is a plus as other apartments we stayed in around Italy had horrible connections.
Very nice apartment. Just few steps by walk (about 3 minutes) from the central railway station (SMN) and 10 minutes from the center (pz. republicca and duomo). If you come with a lot of bags & a baby in rainy day, It's really better to be near by the railway station...
The apartments is very classic, romantic and beautiful. We liked almost everything in it. Perfect for couple and good also for a small family. bedroom is big and spacious. We really like the wooden kitchen.
Location is very good. A lot of restaurants, clubs, bars and more in the street (sometimes a little bit noisily). groceries & supermarkets are available few steps away.
Owner was very kind and helped us with any issue about our trip in Italy.
The apartment is conveniently located near central train station but also in a quiet neighborhood in a close proximity to all city sightseeing. It was spacious for two adults and two kids. Apartment was clean, very well maintained, with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Even small things like roll of paper towels in the kitchen. Welcoming bottle of champagne was a nice touch. Verena was very prompt and accurate during our booking process. Annapaola met us at the site and was very helpful. We definitely recommend this apartment.

Beautiful little apartment, they really did a nice job on the remodel. Love being able to walk to this unit from the train, even though the neighborhood was a little ruff around the edges. We stayed here with our 6 year old who loved the "princess bed" and we were able to walk to all the sights without a problem. Thanks for the lovely stay.
Property was cozy and clean! It had all the amenities you'll need to make the most of your trip! The apartment is in really close distance to both the train and bus stations. The hostess was more than helpful in showing us how to maintain the apartment and suggesting restaurants and attractions. Highly recommend it!
The location is very good for its closeness to the historical center and to the “Lungarni” that can be easily reached by foot. The Santa Maria Novella neighbourhood, where Via della Scala represents the main road, is one of the eldest in Florence : the ancient road takes its name from the ex-hospital of Santa Maria della Scala, founded in 1313.
Close to the apartment are the bus stations (Lazzi,Sita and Cap) that will lead you even to the destinations not served by the train. The city bus lines run along the Station square and in Piazza dell’Unità. Particular stores, artisan workshops and antiquarian shops as well as “trattorie” typical of the traditional tuscan cooking make this neighbourhood a lively place, full of life, where to spend a pleasant stay.
