We had a great stay at Indian Lake. The house is a large open concept which worked great for our big family. The amenities were awesome (bikes, canoes, pool table etc) and I never heard "iIm bored". Thank you Dori.

Magnificent House and Accommodations

  • 5 of 5

The house is everything that's advertised and more. The six bedroom home accommodates 2 people/room with very comfortable beds. There is ample seating inside and out for dining with state of the art decorum. There's an abundance of cookware. There is a plethora of games and entertainment for family fun.

We spent an extended weekend with our children and grandchild. The blissful campfires, still waters canoeing at dusk, fishing off the pier, and beautiful white swans are some of my fond memories.

Could not ask for anything better. The home accommodated us all( four generations), to perfection with room to spare. Nate was very easy to work with and all amenities outstanding. Would definitely look forward to renting again. It certainly is a hidden treasure.

There is none better than this beautiful home on the lake.

  • 5 of 5

My family from England and I, a total of 18 had the most fabulous time, the house is everything you could hope for in a vacation home. It is well stocked with everything. Being English the only thing we needed to bring was a tea kettle. The house is roomy, modern, and clean. Being on the water we enjoyed the water and especially the beautiful deck boat. Somewhere in my conversation with Nate I had assumed we were getting a pontoon boat but it was actually a brand new deck boat. We had fabulous times skying and water tubing. The garage is filled with everything, bikes, tubes, skies, etc, etc. I could go on and on about this house. If you have looked at everything else this is the one you should choose. We have been renters for many years and this is by far the best we have rented. I only hope it doesn't get too popular because then it will not be available the next time we want it. I cannot say enough about this house. Plus the price is well within reason.

Thank you Nate for the privilege of allowing us into your home.

Perfection!

  • 5 of 5

My extended family stayed at this house for my graduation from WMU. We had three generations with ages from 5 to 80. We had an amazing time! While the weather was not super nice (rented in April), we still were able to rent a pontoon boat and enjoy the water. We also utilized basically everything they had stocked in the garage (bikes, grill, basketballs, chairs, etc.).

There is one bunk bed room on the first floor with four queen bed rooms and another bunk bed room on the second floor. This worked out perfectly with the huge living/dining room and kitchen on the first floor. We cooked all of our own meals and there was plenty of kitchen supplies and enough room for 17 people to spread out. There was a huge island with enough seating and room to play cards and games.

While there was a TV in the main room, we rarely had it on as we just enjoyed the location and having the family together. The house was beautifully decorated and a great place to relax for a long weekend. We loved sitting out on the back porch and even made a bonfire for S'mores!

The owner was great to work with and was so helpful, and we had no issues.

This place was amazing!

This house has everything!

  • 5 of 5

This house was beautiful. There was an amazing amount of attention to detail. We have a group of 10 ladies that gather every year for our girls' weekend. It was such a pleasure to arrive at a beautiful, clean, updated, luxurious and well-appointed house. Everything we needed was right at our finger tips.

Enough cannot be said about the amazing wrap aound deck, or the ample kitchen seating. There were plenty of bedrooms (perfect for large groups) with large closets and dressers and three (3) full bathrooms. The kitchen was fully stocked, as were the bathrooms.

We stayed in October and therefore didn't use the lake, but it looked gorgeous. The garage was huge and had every toy imaginable, including a variety of tubes, life jackets, bikes, etc. If you come during the summer, especially with the kids, you will not be dissappointed. There were also a ton of picnic tables and a fire pit/deck area and a huge grassy front lawn (rare in lake front homes).

We have been renting houses for over 15 years, and for working mothers, I cannot tell you how refreshing it was to come to a house that has taken care of every detail, but still set on a lake in a very relaxing atmosphere. We also appreciated the large eating and entertaining area. We could all gather together to watch sporting events on tv, play games, watch movies, eat meals, but without being crowded. We also couldn't say enough about the the built in fridges in the huge bar table!

Our group has had a lot of experience renting houses, and the owner was a real pleasure to work with. The information on the website was very accurate and the pictures can't do this beautiful house justice. The upgrades in every room made us all feel pampered. Absolutely no issues and we will definitely be going back. We miss the deck already!!

Thank you Nate for creating such a welcoming place.
