When we walked into our rental, it looked brand new like no one had ever been in there before. Very, very clean. The kitchen is beautiful and fully stocked and modern. If I could have brought the mattress and pillows home I would have. Very comfortable. We were beyond pleased. One of the nicest VRBO we've rented. The building is secured. Walking distance to various places. There is paid parking right outside of the building. It's cheap. Pay with a card. The building itself is a historical old railroad depot I guess. It's gorgeous. There are also permanent residents that live here. We talked to a few and they said they really liked living there. Oh, there is a nice fitness center. We would recommend this rental to anyone looking for a place to stay. If we get back to Pittsburgh, we would definitely stay here again. The management of this rental stayed in contact with us in case we had any problems or questions.
Downtown views in a host of building
We used to the apartment on our baseball tour through the rust belt. The apartment is modern with all of the needed amenities. Location was great as we were able to easily walk to many interesting areas of the city.
Management team was great - very prompt and attentive.
Loved the apartment and building and location!
Great apartment in a wonderful building just a short walk to the convention center. Coffee/tea in the lobby whenever you want. Loved the decor.
Enjoyed our stay.
We were in Pittsburgh for the American Cheese Society annual conference. We were close enough to walk to everything we needed to attend, also within walking distance to many great restaurants. The condo was very spacious and clean.
Comfortable little apartment
This was a comfortable place to stay in a very convenient Pittsburgh location. We were two adults and one child. We walked or took the subway everywhere we wanted to go. Parking was easy - we just parked in front of the building and paid the attendant in the booth. Wifi worked, everything was clean, they had coffee and coffee filters (yay!), and they generally were well set up for a comfy stay.
We were warned that there are sometimes events in the building, and we did see a wedding one night we were there. You could hear the music inside the apartment, but it wasn't very loud and it didn't bother us much. Conveniently, there was a sound machine available in the bathroom drawer to help smooth out any background noise. You can also hear some trains going by, but it's really not very loud, more the general background of city noise you'd expect from being downtown.
I would like to take the opportunity to suggest that Lyric change some of the lighting choices in this apartment - there are way too few lights in the apartment and they are all very dim! It didn't really detract from our stay but more light would have been a welcome change! :)
What a stunning reuse of the old train station.
I visited this building years ago when it was being renovated. Some difficulty accessing the building as we arrived just as a running event was finished. Streets were blocked. Some puzzlement on accessing the parking area as signs seem to indicated no left turn and buses only. Once we dropped the car and enjoyed the city on foot all was well. The space is very well furnished with everythin you could need. We hope to return again.
