We fell in love with Sanibel Island the first time we visited from New Jersey with our three children and decided then and there that our future beach house was actually going to be 1200 miles away!

Why Beth Friedman chose Florida South Central Gulf Coast

We first purchased a small condo on West Gulf Drive but it offered no views and very little storage space so after three years we sold it. In 2013 we bought Cyprina Beach 1 and immediately started renovations. With its spacious interior, soaring cathedral ceilings, garage and unparalleled Gulf views, it offered everything we could ever hope for in a vacation property.

Exceeded expectations!

Just returned from an amazing stay at this townhouse. Everything was as promised, and more! The townhouse has beautiful ocean views and the interior decor is very upscale. The unit was spotless upon arrival. Beach towels, toys, chairs, umbrellas were provided. We made daily use of the 2 adult bikes that were in the garage. The screened porch is huge and there are 2 lounge chairs for relaxing, as well as a table and chairs for dining outside. We did most of our own cooking and the kitchen was stocked with all the cookware that we needed. The bathrooms are beautiful. Wait until you see the master bath shower! The view of the moonlit ocean from the master bedroom was unreal. The pool was nicely heated (i'm picky about that) and the tropical landscaping around the pool was gorgeous. There was an outdoor shower for use if returning from the beach. Speaking of the beach, we found it to be the best shelling on the island. We were so happy we chose the East end of the island. It was quieter and we loved being near the lighthouse. The owners were a pleasure to work with and answered all questions promptly and courteously. Do not hesitate to book this rental. It was a dream vacation!

Amazing property!

Recently stayed here with our 2 kids ages 18 months and 3.5 years and nanny. We had a wonderful vacation. The property is just gorgeous. The newly renovated kitchen is beautiful, and the new tile in the family space is practical and looks great. The house was very comfortable for us. Beds were comfortable and all the seating in the living room was terrific. Bathrooms were beautiful. We loved seeing the sunrise every morning from the living and dining rooms. There were tons of beach toys, buckets, beach chairs, and umbrellas for us to use. A kayak and bikes were also provided.

We would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to anyone considering it. My 3 year old son asked if we could "keep this house."

Fantastic views!

We have been vacationing on Sanibel for many years. This has been one of best weeks ever. The condo is is beautifully decorated, spacious, and very private. The views are terrific. A special place.

Much Needed Break

We had a great time at Cyprina Beach 1 with our son and his girlfriend. We made great use of the bikes and my son made great use of the kayak. The chairs, beach umbrella, shovels, kite, cooler and many other things make the time spent there very enjoyable. The shelling can't be beat and it is almost a private beach during the slower times. Beautiful looking pool lit at night and very refreshing as an option to the beach during the day. The sunrises from most rooms were amazing! The amenities in the home gave it an 'upscale' feel, with the exception being the squeaking of the top floor. We would definitely return!

This was our second time staying in Cyprina Beach 1 and we were still wowed the

moment we walked through the door. The view of the Gulf from the inside is just

amazing and the townhouse itself is heads and tails above the usual vacation

rental. This particular unit occupies the entire building so it feels more like

a house than a condo. The complex it's in is small and private and once again we

had the pool and beach practically to ourselves. We are already looking froward

to returning next year!

We had an amazing time staying in Cyprina Beach 1, with our three children (ages 12, 12 and 9). The accommodations were perfect, the view was spectacular and all of the amenities like the kayak and bikes tipped the scale for us making for one of our most memorable vacations ever! We used the barbecue at the pool and enjoyed some wonderful meals, too. We loved it and are planning to come back as soon as possible.

Sanibel's famous 25-mile paved bike path passes right across the street from our townhouse. Jump on one of our complimentary bicycles and discover all the island has to offer!

Within a mile of our door you will find the Sanibel Lighthouse, fishing pier and marina -- all great places to visit!

Due to the popularity of our townhouse, we require a Saturday check-in/check-out. We do not refund in full. If the guest were to cancel inside 90 days prior to arrival there is an $88.85 cancellation fee and payment is held unless the time frame is re-rented. If it's not re-rented the payment is forfeited to the owner.

To ensure the very best vacation experience for our guests, we use a management company on Sanibel to handle payments, check in/out and maintenance. We adhere by their policy -- and not VRBO's -- for payments and cancellations
