Both love the mountains, and enjoy another home tucked up Coal Creek Canyon. Love to mt. bike, hike, road ride, and basically any endurance activity in the mountains. As an employee of HomeAway and VRBO, I highly recommend this property. You couldn't ask for a better location in such a beautiful, quiet, neighborhood within walking distance to Pearl St. and nearby trails. We would walk every day and admire all the peonies and roses in bloom from the sidewalks. The house is absolutely adorable and very clean and comfortable. Trish really knows what she's doing and made the whole booking experience easy.
We had a lovely weekend in Boulder for graduation. Trish met us at the property and showed us round her lovely home away from home. We had the most pleasant start to our stay with breakfast on the balcony. The house was a pleasant stroll away from Pearl St, which we did in lovely sunshine on Friday morning. The house is well equipped and comfortable. We had stormy weather for some of our stay and so did not have the opportunity to eat outside but the patio area was a lovely spot.
The house was easy to find and had plenty of parking.
A lovely place to stay.
We loved this charming house, which is perfect for 2 couples or a family of 4, and walking distance to downtown Boulder as well as to trails and bike paths that are just around the corner. We fully intend to return! As soon as we entered, we felt at home. Warm, comfortable and beautifully appointed, the house is an ideal place to stay in this charming and spectacular city. Each bedroom has its own outdoor space and the front porch with swing bench is lovely. The kitchen is fully equipped and quite an enjoyable area to hang out in. While the weather we encountered for our weekend stay was cloudy, rainy and snowy, we had a blast! We walked into town and enjoyed the many coffee shops, taverns and sites the owner recommended, as well as those we happened upon including CU and Naropa U and of course Rush Bowl! In the morning, we took a walk/run on Mt. Sanita's trail and then drove north to Rocky Mountain National Park and to Nederlands, which filled our day with awe. Highly recommend.
We visited our daughter for CU parent's weekend and absolutely loved the Maxwell house. It has been beautifully remodeled with a great kitchen and backyard patio area. It was so nice to be able to visit with our daughter in a homey, comfortable atmosphere and cook for her in the well appointed kitchen! The house is walking distance to Pearl street's shopping and restaurants and was also only a few blocks to the Mt Sanitas trailhead where we went on an exhilarating hike.
We can't wait to return and stay in this adorable house again soon!
Trish and the Maxwell House could not have been any better for our stay during Ironman Boulder. It was the perfect size for all our gear, and a short walk to all the festivities. Close to the trails and Pearl Street, which was perfect for us. We loved the outside sitting areas, especially the porch swing. This house was in great condition, as advertised in the description. The kitchen allowed us to make meals and feel like we were at home. It is a great house with plenty to offer.
My 2 adult "children" and I stayed here for 3 nights. Was a great fit for us as my 27 y/o son had the 1st floor bedroom and his own bath and my daughter and I were in the upstairs room with our own bathroom. I especially enjoyed the house's walking distance to Vic's for coffee, Broadway Bagels for breakfast, and Ideal Market for other things. The house is colorful, comforting, and super cute. We weren't there much as we travelled to Boulder for a wedding at Chataqua Park followed by a rafting day the next but we all truly enjoyed being there. Kudos to the owners!
