About the property

Welcome to Nomad's Land. This spectacular condo is centrally located near pristine beaches, Mayan Ruins, and town of Tulum. The complex Zama Village is the closest condos to the beach and the first to be built in the new Aldea Zama project. There is a new grocery store called Chedraui right down the street for all your vacation needs. Also, a Pemex gas station, bike rentals, medical services, banks, and restaurants are all nearby.

The condo is located on the 2nd floor of this 3 level low rise complex and is surrounded by jungle. It actually overlooks a gorgeous swimming pool with tropical plants throughout. The condo has 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, a Jacuzzi tub, a full kitchen, open living room, air conditioning, ceiling fans, and 3 balconies. You'll enjoy all of the high quality bamboo furnishings. It really gives you the feel of being in the tropics.

The masterbedroom consist of a king size bed, it's own full size bathroom, a private balcony with a Jacuzzi tub and jungle views. Let me tell you, margaritas go well in the jacuzzi tub. Also, a Samsung 40' LED flat panel tv is mounted on the wall for your viewing enjoyment. The guest room has comfortable twin beds, a full size bathroom, a 32' LED flat panel tv, and a private balcony that also has jungle views. Perhaps you'll see a Tucan or maybe a Spider monkey! The kitchen has stainless appliances, granite countertops, a table for 6 guest, and all your cooking needs. It's open to a nice size living room, which has a sofa, loveseat, coffee table, end table, and a 43' Samsung plasma tv that's mounted on the wall. The best part is walking off the living room onto a large balcony that sits over a lazy river shaped pool. There's nothing better than having your first cup of coffee on it and enjoying the peaceful morning views.

So! Whether your looking to party, visit historic places, enjoy water sports or just relax. Come to Paradise! Come to Nomad's Land!

Tulum gem

  • 5 of 5

Great condo in a fantastic location - close to town, the beach, and the supermarket. We had two adults and three children and there was plenty of room for everyone. The place was very clean and there were no surprises. Everything in the condo worked.

The list of things to do nearby is endless. We opted for spending a fair amount of time at the different cabanas and restaurants on the beach ($6-$9 cab ride) and sightseeing / dining in town ( walking distance or a $4 cab ride away). Our kids loved the beautiful pool in the complex as well.

Food in Tulum is absolutely amazing and I highly recommend doing your homework before you go or consulting the owner on what places to visit. Our favorites on the beach were Ziggy's, La Zebra, La Rosa del Viento, and Dos Estrellas at La Luna. In town - El Asadero, La Coqueta, Azafran, and Don Cafeto.

The owner as well as the on site manager were very helpful, accommodating, and easy to deal with. Overall, everyone had a great time! We are definitely going back to Tulum and would absolutely stay in the same condo if available.

Owner's Response: Hey Dorin, I'm glad to hear that you had a great time and got the chill out of your bones. The northeast had a brutal winter and sometimes you just got to pack your bags and get up and go. I myself am sick of the cold and will be going down shortly, anyhow thanks for your kind words and I hope to have you back again. Darrell

Tulum Trophy

  • 4 of 5

Contemporary, clean & comfortable unit. Centrally located between downtown Tulum & the beach. Staying in beach area can be pricey at $600 USD/night before taxes. This property totaled out to be $175 USD/night with cleaning & fees. Since we were in Tulum for a week we ate meals both in downtown Tulum as well as several beach restaurants. This unit was clean & we had no bugs in it. The owner & property manager were great. We had arranged for a cab to drop us at the ADO bus station early in the morning. Jose called just to verify the driver would be there. He was & we made our bus to Cancun & our flight. Jose marked up a map for us showing & explaining choices for Cenotes & restaurants both in town & at the beach. The complex has a 24-hour guard as well as there are roving security throughout the complex of condo complexes. Having a washer/dryer in the unit came in handy. Thanks for the stay :)

Condo was very accommodating.

  • 4 of 5

Beautiful beaches, but definitely "privatized" and for tourist only. Condo was clean, pool lovely, linens aplenty, close to grocery and downtown tulum. Cathy was wonderful and helpful. Kitchen ware needs improvement. It was barely usable. But I keep a tight kitchen.

Owner's Response: Hi Carey, I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. Cathy will be inspecting and replacing any of the worn out kitchen ware. We were not aware of it. Thanks for your feedback. We are always looking to improve the condo. Thanks! Darrell

Quiet Condo in newer development

  • 4 of 5

We arrived a little later than expected and were pleasantly surprised that Cathy (property manager) had waited for us and really gave some great tips for getting around and places to eat. So happy that we rented a car because the area is neither super close to Tulum centre or the beach. People were riding bikes everywhere we went but with two little kids (3&5months) it would have been logistically impossible to see and do all that we did. The condo itself was clean, quiet, well stocked with the basics and the pool area was gorgeous! Water was a bit cool for us but it was 30 degrees Celsius while we were there so it was refreshing to say the least. Air conditioning wasn't working in the master bedroom on the first night we stayed but Cathy promptly had it fixed. There were a few little things we noticed that maybe could be checked out/improved : the master bathrooms shower had very little water pressure (clogged fixture?). We were told it was a building issue. Other shower was fine. There was a frying pan that had some mysterious burnt food on it and with only 2 frying pans available making any big meals was tricky. Overall this place was a good, safe, clean, comfortable home base to travel back and forth from the Tulum beaches and attractions. Highly recommend checking out Chacabar restaurant in Aldea Zama neighbourhood - delicious pizza out of an old Volkwagon bug converted into a wood stove and it was a short 5-10min walk from the condo. We LOVED the beaches toward Boca Paila and although secluded and a bit of a drive, it was well worth packing a lunch and a few cervazas to spend the day there. I'm imagining that in a couple of years the area surrounding this place will be fully developed so visit quickly before it gets too busy and over crowded. Thanks for the great stay!

Family friendly getaway

  • 5 of 5

I traveled to Tulum for the first time with my fiance and our three kids. We were able to get a cot for the bedroom with 2 twin beds, making it 3 which was perfect. The condo is clean and accommodating and the kids loved the pool. We rented bikes from iBike which was walking distance and from there biked into town for shopping and dinner - and also to the Tulum ruins. We had a rental car too which is convenient and did a few beach days. Ziggy's was our fav spot hands down.

Very responsive and helpful local help too!

My parents rented the unit across the hall which the owner helped coordinate. Thanks again!
