Aldea Zama Condo Rental Photos and Description

Welcome to Nomad's Land. This spectacular condo is centrally located near pristine beaches, Mayan Ruins, and town of Tulum. The complex Zama Village is the closest condos to the beach and the first to be built in the new Aldea Zama project. There is a new grocery store called Chedraui right down the street for all your vacation needs. Also, a Pemex gas station, bike rentals, medical services, banks, and restaurants are all nearby.

The condo is located on the 2nd floor of this 3 level low rise complex and is surrounded by jungle. It actually overlooks a gorgeous swimming pool with tropical plants throughout. The condo has 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, a Jacuzzi tub, a full kitchen, open living room, air conditioning, ceiling fans, and 3 balconies. You'll enjoy all of the high quality bamboo furnishings. It really gives you the feel of being in the tropics.

The masterbedroom consist of a king size bed, it's own full size bathroom, a private balcony with a Jacuzzi tub and jungle views. Let me tell you, margaritas go well in the jacuzzi tub. Also, a Samsung 40' LED flat panel tv is mounted on the wall for your viewing enjoyment. The guest room has comfortable twin beds, a full size bathroom, a 32' LED flat panel tv, and a private balcony that also has jungle views. Perhaps you'll see a Tucan or maybe a Spider monkey! The kitchen has stainless appliances, granite countertops, a table for 6 guest, and all your cooking needs. It's open to a nice size living room, which has a sofa, loveseat, coffee table, end table, and a 43' Samsung plasma tv that's mounted on the wall. The best part is walking off the living room onto a large balcony that sits over a lazy river shaped pool. There's nothing better than having your first cup of coffee on it and enjoying the peaceful morning views.

So! Whether your looking to party, visit historic places, enjoy water sports or just relax. Come to Paradise! Come to Nomad's Land!

Tulum gem

  • 5 of 5

Great condo in a fantastic location - close to town, the beach, and the supermarket. We had two adults and three children and there was plenty of room for everyone. The place was very clean and there were no surprises. Everything in the condo worked.

The list of things to do nearby is endless. We opted for spending a fair amount of time at the different cabanas and restaurants on the beach ($6-$9 cab ride) and sightseeing / dining in town ( walking distance or a $4 cab ride away). Our kids loved the beautiful pool in the complex as well.

Food in Tulum is absolutely amazing and I highly recommend doing your homework before you go or consulting the owner on what places to visit. Our favorites on the beach were Ziggy's, La Zebra, La Rosa del Viento, and Dos Estrellas at La Luna. In town - El Asadero, La Coqueta, Azafran, and Don Cafeto.

The owner as well as the on site manager were very helpful, accommodating, and easy to deal with. Overall, everyone had a great time! We are definitely going back to Tulum and would absolutely stay in the same condo if available.

Owner's Response: Hey Dorin, I'm glad to hear that you had a great time and got the chill out of your bones. The northeast had a brutal winter and sometimes you just got to pack your bags and get up and go. I myself am sick of the cold and will be going down shortly, anyhow thanks for your kind words and I hope to have you back again. Darrell

5 Stars

My family and I just got back early yesterday morning. We fell in love with this little piece of paradise called Tulum and Darrell's condo was the perfect choice. Unit was very clean, close to everything you'd need, neighbors were quiet and friendly. The 5 of us were very comfortable during our 5-day stay. The pool was amazing, especially with a glass of wine after a long day out. Darrell is very responsive and made our stay here seamless and stress free. Appreciated the fact that there is wifi which was never a problem, strong A/C and washer/dryer so we were able to avoid bringing home suitcases of dirty clothing.

The ooonly suggestions we have would be to 1.) have a supply of toilet paper stocked in the laundry room or in the bathroom cabinets - plenty of room for TP. We arrived to 1 roll for each bathroom and had to buy some at the market. Also would be nice if there were a big container of laundry detergent in the laundry room. We had to buy that too. None of these are a big deal but would be very convenient for future guests. Despite this we'd book here again in a heartbeat. very beautiful and comfortable condo.

Owner's Response: Hi India, Thank you for the 5 star review. Sorry there was no laundry detergent. It was obviously an oversight from house keeping. I will be sure to bring it to their attention. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay and hope to see you again in the future. Cheers, Darrell and Cathy

Great condo

  • 5 of 5

First, Darrell was great to work with, he responded quickly to my request and made the booking process very simple. He was always easy to reach and wants to make sure you enjoy your stay. I was a little concerned about the location as we have always stayed on the beach or in town. It turned out to be perfect for our family, 5 minutes to the beach or town. The selling points for us were having 2 bathrooms and air conditioning as we traveled in June when it gets pretty hot. The condo was beautiful, clean, the kitchen was well stocked, plenty of nice linens, and really cool lamps! And thank you to Cathy for all her helpful hints. We look forward to coming back to Nomad's Landing!

Fabulous. I will stay there again!

  • 5 of 5

I would give it a six if it were right on the beach. But it is not far. It is clean, spacious, well managed. Kathy made it simple. Darrell was kind, helpful and great to work with. We were going to a wedding and several of our party stayed in other condos in the same area. We visited them and found Darrelle's condo to be superior. Thanks Darrell! Carol

PS Grocery store near by as well as good breakfast places. The easiest thing is to take taxi's to places farther away. It is sooooo easy.

wonderful customer service

  • 5 of 5

Beautiful property. Owner so professional and a delight to deal with. 100% as explained and pictures accurate. A car is easy from Cancun and recommended. Town is also wonderful. Only issues were with electricity, a few blown appliances. They worked very hard to fix over a holiday while we were there. I highly recommend this property and property management was top notch. You will enjoy it very much.

Owner's Response: Hi Stacey, Thanks for the great review and understanding about the electrical issues that we had. The storm knocked out power to.all of Aldea Zama and other condo owners had similar issues with their appliances. Since then we had installed a surge protector to the whole unit. Hope this helps for any future storms. Cheers! Darrell and Cathy

Up-to-date, tasteful, clean, spacious and convenient

  • 5 of 5

I had a wonderful stay. What a reasonable rate compared to hotels and there you are with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a big living room, kitchen, TVs, washer and dryer. Free of upcharges, surcharges, taxes, tipping, awkwardness of being served and smiled at all the time, you know what I mean. Easy short drive to Tulum beach, Tulum pueblo, Tulum ruins. Huge Chedraui supermarket may fascinate our descendants centuries from now. Easy parking next to the condo. Darrell responded quickly to my reservation request and Cathy followed up to make check in easy. She also sent an email with helpful suggestions for enjoying our visit. Cathy was super communicative and helpful.

We had a run of fantastic restaurant dinners at Restaurare, Posada Margherita, Hartwood and Mezzanine. Ceviche lunches at Chamico's and fish tacos at El Camello Jr. Huevos rancheros at Zamas. An absolutely fantastic massage by Elodia at the Maya Tulum. Went to Dos Ojos cenote for snorkeling in the caverns.
