One bedroom house with a rural setting only 1/2 mile from town and grocery. A very quiet place to rest and recover or to use as a basecamp while exploring the beautiful Teton Valley. Home has one queen bed, and a cot. No more than 2 people please, unless prior arrangements have been made. Interior of home is simple and clean with all basic amenities (washer/dryer, dishwasher, coffee maker etc.). Thanks
This property is exactly as described.....great base camp. We loved living in the Teton Valley for a month! Chris was wonderful, helping me connect to the internet, making sure we had anything we needed. It was a mini-ranch experience. We had horses and cows and moose in our view daily! AND- the Grand Teton of the Tetons could be seen from the house. Really cool!

Chris had the place cleaned and was waiting for us when we arrived. The place has all the basics that you need. Quiet location.
Owner did a great job of representing the house correctly. My wife and I were very satisfied with everything and we would definitely stay here again. The comments about the rough driveway are correct but don't let a 1/4 mile bumpy driveway stop you from enjoying this great house.
This was a quiet setting about 2 minutes from downtown Driggs, with pastures of cows and horses nearby. The house was clean, spacious, and a relaxing spot after spending the day at the Grand Tetons. Chris was a gracious host, checking that we had everything we needed, and offered advice on places to see on our way to Yellowstone. We give it 5 stars.
Loved staying at this quiet, secluded cabin. Situated just off the main road on the south side of town it offered privacy & tranquility yet was close enough to shops & restaurants that made it the perfect getaway location. Spectacular views of the Teton range & valley off the back porch & only a short ride from the 8 mile paved separate bike path between Driggs & Victor. True, the access road was pot-holed & dusty but my Mazda Miata handled it fine as long as you went slow, something I would recommend since there are cattle that move between pastures & free roaming chickens belonging to a neighbor (bring some earplugs if you do not wish an early wake up call from the rooster!). The cabin itself was surprisingly roomy for a 1 bedroom, it had a fully equipped kitchen (inc. dishwasher, microwave & gas stove), separate laundry & spacious living area with a gas fireplace. Large bedroom, comfy bed with plenty of storage & vaulted ceilings. There is no TV/DVR but I was able to get a decent enough wifi signal to stream Pandora & the Xfinity TV apps on my ipad, I did have some trouble loading HD Netflix however. Very convenient to have an keyless entry system, I felt very safe staying here as a lone female traveller. I will definitely put this on my must-stay list for future trips, good communications with the owner prior to my arrival & great value.
This is the 2nd time my husband & I have stayed here. Even though the house sits in the fields in the Teton Valley, it is very private. The half-mile drive down the very pot-holed gravel road takes a bit of time, but it is worth the quietness once you arrive. The yard is fenced in which allowed a wonderful space for our dog. The field around the house was mowed & baled while we were there which I found quite pleasant and reminded me of haying in West Virginia when I was a kid. For some reason the grasses right next to the house are not hayed & were not mowed both times we were there. I did have the urge to go find a lawn mower, but resisted. The house is perfect for a couple & not meant for larger groups. There's a dishwasher & garbage disposal but they don't work properly which really should be fixed especially for those of us who do a lot of cooking and want to go explore, not spend time washing a lot of dishes. It's a wonderful spot to just hang out or use as a base to explore Jackson & Grand Teton National Park which are just on the other side of the Teton Range which peaks over the lower mtns. to the east. We watched this year's fireworks sitting in camp chairs in the field behind the house. They were very close to us and we didn't have to leave the property. Quite a perk!!
