Convenience of first floor and property had everything we needed - perfect location
Quick Get Away
I booked this place for my wife and I to get out of town for a long weekend and we loved it. There is no denying that no expense was spared with updating this property; it was so nice and comfortable. The location is also amazing; easy access to everything on Beech Mtn. We will definitely be booking again.
Our stay was absolutely wonderful and relaxing. The studio condo was wonderfully appointed, decorated beautifully, and very comfortable. Would highly recommend to anyone. The property and the area surrounding resort was beautiful. Would love to return soon!
Unit 4103 was perfect for our weekend getaway! Kitchen and bath updated with granite, tile, new cabinets, appliances, new shower. Hardwood floors and nice furniture. The mattress is a brand new Tempur-Pedic, very comfortable. Condo was stocked with linens, towels and paper products along with a washer/dryer. Television has a Roku so you can sign in to your Hulu/Netflix or whatever, plus great cable and wi-fi.
The pool and jacuzzi were great, along with the exercise room and sauna. Didn’t use outside amenities but there is tennis, shuffleboard and a gazebo with a fire pit.
Less than 10 Minutes to Banner Elk. Several restaurants on the mountain and in Banner. About 40 min to Boone.
Well worth the money, we will return.
NIcely done. A few suggestions...
The unit is well decorated. It’s small, but cozy and efficient. It was a cold, wet weekend (unfortunately we left our ski gear at home due to the weather). Upon walking in, the unit was very cold. It had more than likely not been occupied for a while. The floors were like ice and there were no instructions on how to turn the heat on. Luckily, we flipped some switches and we figured it out ourselves. Point being, it would have been nice had someone done a “start up” heat process in anticipation of our arrival, and provided some detailed instructions on the heat situation. The heat is vented on one wall, so the bathroom gets the least amount of heat. Also, the water line to the kitchen sink was off. Again, we searched and found the valve and turned it on. So again, a little attention to an arriving guest would have made things a bit less stressful when we arrived. Unfortunately, there were no dish towels, nor wash cloths for the bath whatsoever. This small complimentary touch would have been greatly appreciated. The dead bolt to the entry door is badly in need of replacement. It did not work and made us a bit nervous when only able to lock the door knob. The complex as a whole is a bit rundown, but decent. The deck stairs, concrete landings and walkways have been renovated. The old aluminum exterior siding is lacking and in need of a good pressure wash, but overall for a ski town, it’s not a big deal. I must stress that our review is meant constructively. This is a nice, cozy unit and very nice for a weekend mountain getaway for two.
Perfect spot for a couple on a weekend ski trip
cozy studio apartment was perfect for our weekend ski trip. Really close to Beech mountain slopes.
